I have the same mower and I take the seal out of the sealed bearings with a pick and add new grease to my sealed bearings. I personally think it's better than replacing them. I do this every other year.

Hi Terry! Not sure but my aunt had a similar issue with her lawn mower. It may have something to do with a sensor that determines if you are sitting in the seat. My cousin tried to bypass this on my aunt's lawnmower but that didn't fix it but maybe that's something you could investigate.

Had to check with my father-in-law on this one, the Z6600 doesn't have a choke cable.
