It’s not picking up my Ally X :/ am I doing something wrong?

Just got my Ally X, i think the volume itself is fine but putting it next to my original Rog Ally the audio quality itself is huge. The original has a lot more bass to it where the X sounds like the handheld js inside a bucket.

Quick tip on steam shortcut in AC click edit game where it shows the path to steam.exe it will say -gamepadui. At the end of this leave a space and add -silent this will stop steam opening multiple windows when you launch a game in ac , then go into steam interface and enable run steam when my computer starts make sure big pic is off :)

I watched your video . Love it , I’m not savvy I wish I could have you do that for me , I’d love to be able to play old games . You used the micro sd card , right ? Can you use one and put it in a different system to play ? I would buy one and send to you if you could do that . And pay you of course ?

Coming from SD Oled and loving the Rog Ally X. At first the ergonomics bothered me but it was a matter of getting used to it, and feel good not to be restricted to proton . I play multiplayer games and the Oled was a no go. Game pass is also awesome. The only downside is also … windows.

I love eveything about my Ally X. The finger scanner however seems to want to work like half the time if that... thought it would be easy like an iphone to open up. Any suggestions?

QC on the X is terrible. Returned 6 of them to Best Buy across multiple stores. Gave up. Will wait for the inevitable Strix Point w/ OLED handhelds in a few months. Issues: Sticky/poppy joysticks when slightly moving them, wobbly power button, warped back cover, squeaky triggers, speaker popping/crackling during games (all had this issue), blemishes in casing etc I've never seen so many random QC issues on a machine before. The hilarious part is, NONE of them had dead pixels. Which is like the first thing to check. Seems all their QC went into the screen & they said fuck it to everything else.

dont forget the new bios 305 gives audio pop fixes by downgrading to 304 many people have that issue sucks... asus qc control

Steam Deck is still the superior choice for retro gaming due to the 16:10 aspect ratio screen being much better for scaling than a 16:9 screen...

Is doing this with my appt connected to a monitor and dock gonna mess up the process or how the games run ?

I've been having issues with inputs duplicating (skipping tiles) and I couldn't play games like Pokerogue or any of my emulators without having issues... I actually completely wiped the hard drive and don't have anything installed now, but I am really worried...

i just installed fresh windows with that new Memory’s Tech Tips’ Unattended Windows Installation xml and when u install windows it's without any apps , just Microsoft store and edge if u want to , depends on xml you choose, after that i installed ghelper and that annoying fan was over , totally recommend,also use memory cleaner and after clean i get like 2.2gb , normal windows it's like 4.5 min
