Sunday’s new design placement is understandable. It’s packed with symbolism and lore, but that doesn’t mean it won’t look goofy. I would say the same thing applies to Serval. I wasn’t there for her placement though.

Squiji will have to go to fellow gunpla builder vtuber Kson for advice as while this is a good build so far, very interesting choice to start with the 1/44 HG Sandrock while I started with those very old, very BEEG gundam model kits from the 90s (Wing Gundam Zero Custom and Gundam Deathscythe Hell Custom). Looking at this I can see much of the model kits from the 90s have been scaled down as well as th quality improving SIGNIFICANTLY as I was gifted a Serpent from the same line as Wing Gundam Zero Custom and Gundam Deathscythe Hell Custom.

I used to work with cadavers as part of my masters thesis, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that real people have different body proportion. Some people have long torso, some have long limbs, some are wide like rectangular when looked from above or some are near cylindrical

u earned a sub and a teacher i had last year 4 grade 6 she said your lip is upside down when i did a w mouth since i was obsessed with it at the time and when i unlocked anime style and said my eyes were incorrect but that annoyed me so i didnt budge after that assessment put i still got an A and still do anime style but is more improved thanks to manga how to draw books so now i agree with you they need to loosen up and that teacher's art looked like a 7 yr old did it.

If you wanted to see robot someone should have shown you Screwllum Screwllum is the most robotic (and arguably most unique) looking design in the game because he doesn’t have a human face. He is going to be playable eventually due to his impact in lore and the story + having all the facets of a playable character however he’s been unplayable since his debut a a year or two ago

I make a real cool tanjiro painting with him doing sun breathing and I was so damn proud but my art teacher took one look and said when you go home redo it that’s no right- ((The test was on draw your favourite art style)) but I asked her is it because I was using a character I didn’t make and she said no it’s because that’s not real art style!! 😭 So then next day I came in and gave her a piece of paper with a stick figure flipping her off- I was immediately sent to the principal office and failed 🥰🥰

So glad that my high school art teacher loved when I drew fanart of anime or video game characters. She especially loved when I drew my own original characters. She would always tell me how talented I am :)

A lot of these character designs have different impacts depending on whether you know the character, or at least have watched their trailers. Example: Sparkle's myriad celestia shows why she looks so "unexaggerated"(simple reason: She's supposed to be "harmony" here not elation, not supposed to stand out basically)

For the Xianzhou characters, these are the known playable characters that are from the same ship Luofu: - Jing Yuan - Fu Xuan - Yanqing - Yukong - Hanya - Xueyi - HuoHuo - Jingliu (transfered from her homeship called the Cangcheng when it got destroyed) - Lingsha (transfered from the Luofu to the Zhuming then got transfered back to the Luofu) - Dan Heng (now travels with the Astral Express) Yaoqing: - Feixiao - Jiaoqiu - Moze - Sushang (transfered to the Luofu) Their ship is described as the most modern of one of the entire fleet due to their connections with the IPC Zhuming: - Yunli - Blade (formerly known as Yingxing, transfered to the Luofu) From what I saw of Yunli's and Lingsha's outfit, it looks like their clothing may be based on Dunhuang Feitian dance attire which is based on Dunhuang frescoes. Which matches the description of the ship as they mentioned lotuses a lot. Also speaking of ranking other games, I feel like Honkai Impact 3rd might be skirting the twitch TOS 😭 There's a few designs with exposed pelvis and really low waistlines, like so dangerously short it would show pelvic hair if used irl As for Touhou I just think looking at some of the art from the mainline games would be funny, especially from the old games lol. But, if we would want to see more normal proportions looking at the art for the official fighting games and the one action platformer can work

Can I get your opinion on the exposed shoulders and thighs in this game? A few female characters wear similar dresses that expose the same areas. But across almost all women, they all have their shoulders and/or their legs out. The dresses are beautiful, but I find the lack of variety a bit boring. Is that something, you could criticise the game for or is it fine, because the indivual designs are good? I'm not a trained artist/designer. I'd love to hear your opinion on that specifically. The male cast is fine as heck, though. So many unique get-ups!

I once had a art teacher that would let me draw anime and other cartoon based drawings, but the problem was he graded it a bit harder than any other kind of drawing I would do so I would love it if I could do more anime based drawings, but I kinda can’t unless if I get really good

My art teacher rn (high school) absolutely loves anime style, he doesn't mind it, thank gosh for him, my art teacher in middle school didn't mind it but she preferred realism.
