🤣 no not loaded...and yes we are here on pink slip with no right to work. However I sold my business in the UK. I have enough money to last us 12 months or so. By then I'm hoping RUclips creates a stable income and I've managed to put something else in place. I sacrificed my 20s to secure my future, when everyone else was buying nice cars or getting finance or going on holiday, I was saving for my 1st apartment in Portugal, then once I'd done that I saved some more, and again and again and invested it along the way. I was born with nothing so I contined to live that way until my mid 30s. Also, opportunity is everywhere I look, so I'll work something out i just need time. Plus my Mrs has been offered multiple jobs, which would mean she switches to a working Visa, meaning she would no longer be a dependent of mine meaning my yearly requirement of €36k earnings would reduce. Also I've spoken to a commercial lawyer about the laws of me setting up a small business here. Where (1) I can't work in, but can be a director, and (2) I can open a business, so it goes full circle... to do I try and seize an opportunity. Depends how people look at it, glass half empty, glass half full scenario!

@@NuttersInCyprus I take my hat off to you. You certainly deserve it. Unlike you, we weren’t sensible in our 20’s to late 30’s on the lash constantly, throwing money at pointless stuff. Completely the opposite now though, saving massively and even more when we are mortgage free next March. Our aim is similar to yours as in make the permanent move although we are probably 7-8 years away from that if we want a comfortable life when we get there. Keep the videos coming, you seem like a salt of the earth family and I wish you well in anything and everything you do. Yamas 🍻

Fair play to you guys on becoming mortgage free, not many people achieve that in the UK these days, I sold my villa in Portugal in 2021 and re-invested the funds into new ventures. We have rented ever since! Whether that was the right or wrong decision, time will tell.

Hi Tony, It depends, it's certainly not easy but each circumstance is different. So many caveats. I mean it's very easy to move here, we just booked some tickets and rented a villa through Facebook, that part took 5 minutes. It's the being able to stay here that's the hard part. My attitude was, let's just go! Then if we fail immigration we will just fly back to the UK after 90 days is up and we'll class it as a 90 day holiday.

@@NuttersInCyprus to what i can remember it varied between the size of the boat when we went we got one of the more expensive boats which costed €270 for a full day. Its called Latchi water-sports centre who we hired of however theres other options e.g George’s water-sports. Our options were 4 hours or a full day

Yeah exactly mate, we originally was going to Paralimni, then after researching Peyia we realised we would never need to leave the village and wouldn't need a car. So we made that choice! We have only been to Paphos properly once, and that was for this video 😀 The other times we have been to Paphos has been for court documents, Customs offices, school registration...and so on! Did 1st customs documents today in Paphos and then went over to Paphos Court to submit my declaration, and I'm in Limassol customs office in the morning to submit further documents to release my car 😀 And agreed mate, Cyprus is nice wherever you go!

Mate it’s so very different to live somewhere as opposed to going on holiday so I completely understand why you chose that side .The village you live in looks absolutely amazing.I can only judge on holidays or when I worked there so I’m not judging by the same standards .From what I’ve seen so far I think you’ve made a fabulous decision .It looks amazing. Oh and by the way the food there looked fab and well priced mate 👌👌👌

@adam-lx2qx Hi Adam, how come you decided to move back to the UK? Originally we was moving to Paralimni after we had holidayed for 1 week in Protaras. Then I posted in a forum and asked 'where do you live in Cyprus? Why did you choose Paphos or Protaras end?' Then somebody replied "we live in Peyia, it's very British, very peaceful, it's all year round, and it has everything you need" So I googled peyia and it had everything we needed, and it's all year round. All year round was our main thing because of the kids. We lived in Portugal before and it was seasonal, 6 months on, 6 months off, we didn't want that for the kids as the winters are long

@NuttersInCyprus well the miss takes kids out everyday in uk farms/kids activities etc and just didn't find the same there, which she didn't enjoy. We are prop similar ages 39&30 kids are 2 and 7. We was paralimni. I enjoyed it. Was more for me todo with the 7yr old vs England. Fishing trips etc but her with 1 year old... was no such thing as baby groups.. we was just discussing though and she things it would of been easier now his 2. You must be sweating out there now! Funny watching your vids as we did all same things. Importing car, immigration appointments 😅. Friends was another thing.. all the brits we found were in their 60's so bit too old for us youngsters! I loved it though and would go back!

@andy9322 we have already hit milestone 1, which is so we can do channel memberships and superchats etc! I read somewhere it takes on average 2 years for a channel to get monetized, we started posting properly on 25th June 😀 We are 45 subscribers and 800 watch hours away from hitting the main target to get monetized.

How is the citizenship going

@@tashmichael just to confirm, its temporary Residency we are going for, we can go for citizenship in 5 years but would have to take tests etc. Either way, we had a meeting with the immigration lawyers today, it turns out I’m short of 2 documents, but are easy to get. I’ll go and grab them tomorrow and then we should be ready to go for the immigration appointment, 1st week of August 😀

Will do its only down the road, there's about 5 or 6 of them in a row
