Kalimera Nutters 👋 from another Nutter on the island. It’s strangely interesting to watch as you guys ettle and begin integrating as I did the same way back in ‘84 … 🙃 Seems you are on the right track - forwards - you will not regret 😀🙌🙏🏻
Nip... I mean Nissi Beach, Ayia Napa, What a place! did my first bungee jump there crashing into the sea as they misjudged my weight to rope measurement! Brilliant times there, with madd as hatters fellow Squaddiees, hope there were none there when you visited the beach! ;) Get yourself a PulseDive small waterproof detector and swim in the shallows you will find loads of rings there, some worth a fortune no doubt!
haha "if there's somewhere you'd like me to go....." nice one. Used to live there back in 1980 - 1983 (Agios Nikolaos army camp) - growing up aged 4-7 was something else. Would come back in a flash although Almeria has caught my eye recently....coming over to my mum's villa in 10 days down in Anogyra but having my 48th in Protaras for a few days end of July 👍
@@volvot5turbo sounds like a plan! Almeria is not somewhere we have been, but good luck if you decide to make the move. Enjoy the knees up for your birthday!
Good luck guys . This channel is going to do very well as your a natural you got me hooked already. Only thing I wish is that you carried on with episode numbers as I get confused. Can't wait to see the villa. Lovely family all the best really hope it works for you xx
Thanks Lorraine, glad you like it. We're still learning, but we'll get there! Great comment thanks for this, I have spent the morning updating the thumbnails to include the episode number, also I have added EP1 or Episode 1 to the end of every title 😀 hope that helps! Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it!
Hey guys, I’m enjoying ur videos of Cyprus. I’m a Cyprian that lives in Australia, but always holiday in Cyprus & Greek Islands. Next time u go back to Nissi beach, go on a Tuesday, Friday or a Sunday around 2-3 pm, they have the foam parties & a D.J. (where the bar is located) on those days. A lot of fun for u guys. Have fun exploring Cyprus!!! Also an idea for a future video, u could visit “Stavros” restaurant in the area of Pedoula. It’s up on a mountain (near Virgin Mary church in Kikos mountains. (Panayia tou Kikou). But go on a Sunday, that’s when they have the traditional Cyprian souvla (spit), Chicken, Pork & Deer. Best option is to choose the buffet option, & eat as much as u want for 10 euros each adult (children im not sure). Enjoy & have fun !!!
@Jim-h9v this comment is awesome! Thanks for the recommendation...the Nissi beach parties are probably not for us with having kids. But the Stavros restaurant sounds awesome! We have just made a note of it 😀 thanks for that!
Watching this as I look out of the window and it’s absolutely peeing down and 11c in July. Fair play to you for making the move. Looking forward to future vlogs.
@luken2135 I feel your pain, if you go back to our 1st ever video you'll see me and Emily sat on the sofa all nervous about making a video! That video was made about 1 hour after the decision was made to make the move! I moan about the weather in that aswell 🤣
😂😂we’ve got a place near protaras but don’t know much about paphos so looking forward to your adventures. There’s much more of an expat community down there, so I imagine that was important in your move.
Main thing for us was to have somewhere that was more all year round for the kids to have friends, not 6 months on, 6 months off. We’re open to moving anywhere just needed to have our feet on the ground to get a feel for it all.
In 1991 I sold my holiday flat on Kennedy street. 2 minutes from Nissi Beach. Then it was just a stretch of beach with just 1 hotel. Then Russian money moved in and I sold at a profit and left.
Hey guys. Loving the videos so far. We’re considering moving to Cyrus. I haven’t watched all your videos yet so I may have missed this. But when do you start work? So far looks like a really good holiday. Also how is your house? Would love to see videos on the living and work side of things. Thanks
Hi, We have only been here for 3 weeks, 2 weeks in Protaras to get the holiday blow out, out of the way, and 1 week living real life. The home life videos will be starting later this week! I work for myself and its mainly thinking, so no real work to look at! Emily has been offered a job under the working visa, so we will discuss this between us and make a decision, then the videos will follow! Thanks for watching 😀
@Jtech_academy thank, much appreciated! It could still all come tumbling down yet...if it does we will either move to Greece where its less strict, or buy a motorhome and travel the world! Either way we have started something now so no turning back!
Looking forward to seeing where you will be living in Paphos. Just wondered about the boys going to school not speaking any Greek ? Good Luck with everything. x
They have been doing some private lessons for a few weeks, they have got the basics and things like, I want, we want, do you want, I play, we play, we all play, shall we play, I watched, did you watch…and so on! We will be as interested as you to see how it all pans out 😀
@@NuttersInCyprus They are the right age to learn a new language. I (from Sheffield) have been subjected to Greek for many years as my husband is Greek Cypriot but I did go to night school for 6 months to learn the basics. Quite enjoyable actually. x
Understood boss, however the majority of people watching do not live here, I pronounce things, similar to how the Premier league do with foreign players names...its familiar to the audience!
@@NuttersInCyprus Understand , but being married to a Cypriot and living between Australia, Dubai and Cyprus, have always tried to get pronunciations as close to the locals. Enjoy (get up to the Turkish side for an eye opener!
@tonyf7997 will do, yeah I'm only windin you up anyway! I used to get lots of messages from Brits giving me grief for pronunciation, so I did it more to frustrate 😆 🤣 I try more when talking to locals
Protaras.. fig tree & nissi are beautiful beaches 👌
Your 2 boys are adorable and the beaches look fabulous
Thanks Tracey 🙏

Great beach that one .Bit crazy in high season but loads of fun
Much prefer Protaras for the beaches, Nissi was nice, but have more of a connection to fig tree bay

Hi Tom and family Nissi beach is very nice but it’s really busy and haven’t been on it for many years
Yes agreed, as nice as it is. I personally like Protaras beaches!

Hey Guv, please get the pronunciation of Patras correct - put-rah (put the golf ball and ra on the end)
