    Hello, sir. I just wanted to ask about the HD 569 before pulling the trigger. Are they comfortable to wear for long hours? Do they clamp hard? To me, comfort is more important than anything. I'd sacrifice some audio quality over it. What's the use of expensive 3000$-5000$ headphones if I won't be able to wear them for 10 minutes straight without visiting my ENT doctor, haha. I hate Bluetooth earbuds because they get plugged so deep into my ears it's terrible. Gave me all kinds of trouble. I have sensitive ears in general. So I'm gonna slowly transition back to wired, super relaxing headphones. Without a doubt, sennheiser was the first thing I thought about. I'd like a pair of closed back headphones from them (so I don't bother the people around me at home or work from sound leakage). Everyone says the HD 569 is comfortable. Very comfortable, actually. That makes me happy, but I wanted to be extra sure from you if possible. Thank you, and have a nice day/night🫡

    • @kenjihorvath3163
      @kenjihorvath3163 24 дня назад

      So first my disclaimer. Everyone is different. Personally I think they are very comfortable and do not clamp hard. I also wanna say that i do have a big head. With the higher end sennheisers (569's, 580's, 598's, 6XX's) I have never had any comfort issues long term. The 6XX's clamped too hard initially but i stretched it out carefully putting some books between the head pads over night and it worked like a charm. Specifically with the 569's i've never had an issue using them for long periods of time. One last disclaimer is I bought the 569's used from a guy so technically they were already broken in and possibly already stretched out a bit. I do completely agree with you that comfort is king and sennheiser i think knows this. I have some Focal Egelia headphones and while i like the sound the comfort of the 569's is better. I hope this answers your question and good luck in your quest to find the perfect headphones. The quest never ends ;)

    • @Chiva.
      @Chiva. 24 дня назад

      @kenjihorvath3163 Thank you so much for your reply, good sir. I'll buy the HD 569 in 3-4 days and let you know exactly how I feel about them within a timeframe of 2 weeks at least (just to experience it as a whole). Also it's a great idea to stretch the headphones on some books carefully. I'm gonna actually try doing that if I feel the need to do so. I just looked up the Focal Egelia headphones you just mentioned on Amazon, and oh boy, they're a little expensive, haha. The 569 is definitely within my reach. I'm just a simple man trying to start out on the whole "audiophile" journey thingie. Do you have, by any chance, any recommendations for a specific dongle I can use just so that I can plug the headphones to my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra?

    • @kenjihorvath3163
      @kenjihorvath3163 24 дня назад

      @@Chiva. Just keep in mind that the 6XX's have a metal headband so the careful stretch can work. The 569's have a plastic headband. be SUPER careful you don't break the plastic. Plastic doesn't stretch/deform the same way metal does. Regarding the dongle I can't help you. I have an iphone but i also use my headphones plugged into a computer. I'm sure there are tons on amazon that would work for you.

    • @Chiva.
      @Chiva. 24 дня назад

      @kenjihorvath3163 oh absolutely I'll definitely be extremely careful. That's where some of the OCD kicks in, lol. But thank you very, very much, sir🫡🫡

    I recently purchased the ZOOM F2 and I'm using it with the included lavalier microphone. However, my recordings are coming out very quiet. In your video, the audio seems much louder. Could you please share any tips or settings you used to achieve that?

    • @kenjihorvath3163
      @kenjihorvath3163 4 месяца назад

      I don’t recall the settings but because it is a 32 bit recording you won’t peak as much but the sound may be quieter. You can adjust the gain in post production in davinci resolve or whatever your audio/video software is. It is good to post process your audio regardless because microphones are not perfect and how people talk isn’t the same. So you can drop the harsh sounds in post to make the audio sound more soothing to the listener.

      Thanks for your thoughts. Idk if the cushions will last 20 years but the drivers, head band, and other parts may. The ones that lasted that long were a different pair but I do stand behind sennheiser. The hd598’s are super solid and sound terrific. At some point they made hd598’s that were closed backed but idk if you can still find them. I have the open backed version.

    Bought a pair of Sennheiser HD 400s and they stopped working 6 months in but I didn't give up on sennheiser yet just bought a pair of the Sennheiser HD 569 hopefully they last longer then 6 months for 150$

      I’ve never used their HD 400s. So far the headphones I’ve used of theirs are solid. I hope you enjoy the Hd569s.

    OMG, I am watching this video because my HD 570s that I bought in 1999 and have used almost everyday since have just broken. I was replacing the pads every few years and love the sound and feel of this. I think I am replacing them with the HD569 which hopefully will sound as good and last as long!!!

    • @rgrant

      I ended up getting the Beyer 770s over the HD569, found the 770s to have better soundstage and clarity, the 569s sounded muddy in the mids for me.

      @@poutineitup9510 No the 770s don't, I am buying them for desk use only in at work so they are permanently attached so there is no risk of the cable being yanked about. I did buy some 700 Pro's last year for home use, and while I love the sound they are no where near as comfortable as the 770s which are lighter.

    These headphones sound so muffled... cymbals are extremely distorted too. My $60 dollar ghostek headphones sound crisp and clear, these sound worse than a pair of $20 dollar earbuds from 2010... No idea why the 569s get such good reviews, maybe I just got a defective one. This was a massive downgrade in quality for me. Gonna RMA this.

    few years ago my sennheiser hd 457s finally died and they were sooo great and only were like $20 from the early 2000s. I don't know if they have anything like them anymore, everything is gaming this or way too expensive.
