Saturday at Ship Creek
The sun was shining today, so I took my F3 downtown and tried a little gravel hill climbing at Ship Creek. I think I need to turn my tires around so the chevrons are pulling the opposite way. It tends to dig a hole running them this way. No regrets, never surrender.

Sean, I think you're right. If these companies and researchers that are looking for a cure for spinal cord injuries would share their information with everyone else, we would probably be closer to a cure. But as you have experienced, everything is kept secret because of the potential profit. Until we live in a country that doesn't sell Healthcare but views it as a Right of a Citizen, this will continue as the status quo and we'll keep riding our iron ponies.

Permobil tilt error fix
The error message stopped displaying after power cycling the chair a couple of times.
Why the town is so empty? No crowds, no traffic?
It wasn't this empty until the pandemic. Usually the sidewalks have tourists everywhere in the summertime.
It is still science fiction nerves regeneration. Only a little bit neuroplasticity helps.
Maybe in our lifetime.

@@howiroll740 LOL... I just know loosing feeling due to nerve damage from my autoimmune disorder hurts. When I started getting some connections back it would hurt but not in the right place. Now I'm loosing it again and knowing what is on the way sucks the second time around.

@@howiroll740 ya I’m sure I see what he has been threw and I don’t know what keeps him going he is in bad shape he can only sit up for 2 hr twice a day the rest is in bed and moved every hr he has spent 16 months in the va hospital because of a bed sore and it has got to his spine to were it has been clipped well some of it removed I think they clipped it not sure but ya I’ve been in a chair for 21 years I lost my leg and I can’t get a leg I’ve tried and my stump gets. Larger it is 54” around now it is bigger now then when they took it and a lot of the time I want to give up then I say my brother has it worst then me so suck it up lol so I know what ya go threw every day and my hat goes off to ya well keep in touch I haven’t seen ya on hope all is well with ya ok 👍🏻 ttyl have a good nite
@@garybarkley2286 I've come to the conclusion that no matter what I go through someone has it worse. I have seen to many cancer patients go through surgeries and then treatments only to die. I would get to close to them at the infusion center. I had to learn that in order for me to function that I had to withdraw a little. 14 years of seeing that repeat cycle was rough.
@@orion_13 ya I know how that is my wife passed in 08 from cancer and what I saw taking he for treatment after treatment she fought it for 2 and a half years and it. Was hard to watch her dwindling to nothing and my boys went threw and what it did to them ya cancer is a bad thing to deal with I hope I never have to see it again
@@garybarkley2286 That's why I tell everyone to get off any red pressure mark before the skin breaks open. Once the skin breaks, the time to heal gets exponentially longer. My health has been an issue and I'm waiting till 8/11 for a doctor visit. I'm losing feeling and grip in my left arm/hand.

I had to power cycle the chair several times.
Was she a private care worker? I ask because if she works for an agency you can report her, right?
I reported her to the agency and the police and they did nothing.

I don't know why more people weren't out enjoying the sunshine. We don't get much of it here as it is. We haven't had much rain so I knew the ground wouldn't be too soft.
Have you ever had issues with the police either with how you ride on the road or how you cross? I ask because when I was young I was pulled over for speeding on a bicycle. Yup, I was busting 35 in a 25....
Nope they don't seem to care here.
Thanks for the cruise around town. I liked seeing you change your recline angle toward the end. I've wondered how smooth that was in real life. Oh, and those people walking out in front of you at the park... that has been my experience here in a manual chair. I will have a rhythm and momentum and here comes a slow walker crossing and not paying any attention.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Part 2 should be finished uploading soon. I remember having to break a good roll in my manual chair 😤 for the walking disabled 🤣 but now I just try not to run them over.

Thanks, I had to re-edit this video several times and finally remove the narrative to get it to save properly. Software issues. It was early afternoon when I got to the lagoon. I don't know why nobody was out enjoying the weekend. The weather was awesome!
