i was 11 yrs old when i played pkm emerald for the first time. i will never forget how i instantly fell in love with treecko, how i didn't wanted to leave fortree city, how it took me hours to find sootopolis city, how extremely beautiful ever grande city was, the amazing feeling after beating the league, catching rayquaza and how i found latias a year later, in route 119, completlely out of nowhere and i just couldn't believe it. what an amazing game and an amazing generation.

Can anyone explain how the background was set up for this video?

When i was little i would go to verdanturf just to look at the flowers and listen to the music. Nothing else to do there, but i sure spent a lot of time there! And in the hot tub lol

High school sophomore year 2013 I used to play this game so much! I still have my 2013 X game and I bought Y version a year ago, but I have yet to play it now I shall play it again and see if it was as good as I remember it being 😂 but yeah I used to play this game so much with my old buddies at school so many battles in the lunchroom 😭

I got this game on my 14-year-old birthday with a Nintendo DSI ❤ I still have the DSI and this game I am 28 now 😭 Gen 2 is my favorite!

gen 3 is and probably will always be my favorite games, i have a very obvious favoritism to all pokemon that appear in the hoenn region, even if they first appeared in gen 2

How do you think this video compares to the previous ones?

my favorites have always been southern island, mt pyre, cave of origin, elite four , and petalburg themes. the entire soundtrack is close to my heart forever and i still play these games atleast once a year, still gives me the same warm feeling inside.
