Hello, charging IC on Iphone XR is different than Iphone X. What is the problem, is not charging or the charger is not detected? Shows 1% battery? When the phone is off and you plug the charger, the phone is powering up?

@@rickmucci4785 You might have a short on some nand line or somewhere else. If it is under warranty go to Apple ( i hope you have some backup on icloud or on your pc ) - they will give you another phone. If not, go to a repair shop that do microsoldering ( all will say that they do microsoldering - look on reviews ). Where are you from? Maybe i can recommend you some repair shops! Have a nice day.

@@rickmucci4785 If they don't have a recall program, not a chance! It's a 50/50 the thing with the capacitor, but you say that is overheating - that means the phone try to power up till a point - there are some power lines that come on after you press the power button / or you promt to boot with the charger - so it might be a short somewhere. Jason is a guru in this industry, is the guy that made Apple to recall all iphone 6 / 6+ that had "touch disease".

In time some ceramic capacitors get shorted! They are badcaps :D

Hello, If you are talking about those 2 black rectangular parts, those are mosfets used by cpu to speak with battery. If you have an open line when you measure the 2 data lines on battery conector in diode mode and on one of them you have open line, one of the mosfet is disconected!

Hello, Removing just one does not cause any issue because are still 15 capacitors on that line. Removing more than one/two will cause some ripple voltage on that line. If you have an osciloscope you can probe that line before and after removing one capacitor - you will see a small change on the waveform.

I have lots of videos, but almost all are repeating faults, no imei, no wifi, no power, not charging on the same model of phone. I just don't like repeating video with the same fault!

Hello, If the phone was dropped, you will have some broken pads! On these models the solder is more rigid, so it will rip apart the pad from inside the board! If you don't have microsoldering skills, i recommend you to go to a shop that can do that for you. Have a nice day!

On this phone, before changing the home button, had problems with audio ic? If so, chec the Homer IC next to audio codec. If didn't had problems with audio codec, then check Mamba power IC, is close to touch / touch id connector. It's a small ic and you can damage whitout knowing. Check display connector also. @@koreanprometheus5394 For this type of work you need microscope. You can't see nothing with eyes. Check the 2 images: i.gyazo.com/6a430c9291149e7b2bb85ccae58a96d9.png and i.gyazo.com/1cbaa60ad3d0be599196e78ad6232154.png. You can try with rosin also, to find where is the partial short. I bet on 1.8v line.

Hello, I used the same nand because the phone was dropped and nand was pseudo soldered. If you want to do this job and swap the nand you need a programmer and you need to be able to read the syscfg from old nand (you need the serial number, bt and wifi adress - these can be unbind, and few more things). There's no pre-programmed nand.
