Hey obviously with this being an older video, how do you feel about shirking heals in new world Aeternum. As a new player I’m being told to avoid shirking heals and invest in more resit perks like enchanted, elemental aversion and conditioning. Could you please advise before I start investing heavily in this build, as I’m a huge spear fan and like the thought of shirking heals 😁

After using Venom Bunny for a few weeks I have a couple thoughts about the sword: I don’t find myself heavy attacking with the sword as much (this might be an issue of mine). I find myself using the sword to close the gap on people with leaping strike and to stick onto people via the tracking sword has. With that said, I don’t know if trenchent rend is the move (for me at least) I was thinking about putting something like penetrating backstab which essentially gives me a 27% rend (right?). Second thought: kinda going along with what is said about how I use the SnS. I am unsure how valuable Keen speed truly is. Like I said before, I find that I am just using the SnS tracking to keep up with players. So, is having the extra haste even worth? I feel like it would only be helpful when I need to run away from something but if I am hitting them in the back I’m most likely already winning that fight and I can just stay locked on them with the tracking. Anyone let me know your thoughts. Just brainstorming stuff to figure out what I want to make 725. BTW: I play mostly OPR and Arena probably a 70/30 split between the two.

So quick question…is everyone that plays this game just cheating pieces of shit? I literally did this “guaranteed” killing combo on a MAGE that just stood there afk and took nearly no damage. He then proceeded to INSTANTLY kill me and taunt me after death. This is not a unique experience, it happens in literally EVERY opr no matter which build i use

Dots do extremely low damage. The entire duration of dots is weaker then a single bow headshot lol

Do you have to use sns or can you sub it out for something else with the spear?

I run Staff/Flail , but my Flail/Void lifesteal works pretty good in 3v3

I stoked about everything except PVP aim lock. I think back to all the PVP I did and am imaging if aim lock was available. I mean it almost completely changes the way PVP works.

6:50 this is eye opening! I will say the most fun thing about the game was the community. The player base was largely fun to interact with while in the open world. I want to disagree and say it was fun to get to level 60 but it's pretty damn hard to argue that when only 20% made level cap! Thats wild. I feel really lucky to have had great experiences during both the launch and fresh start servers.

Dude I hear what you say but 80% of the people want to win with low cost. They think they know better and there is no commitment. I still play alone and I met over 3000 people, got 5.500 hours of fun, still do. When I get into M3, its more like to finish it alone or by 1-2 people that are still online with enough patience and got the know-how. But its hurting and not fun to play with dump and backstubbing people. Gen Z gaming aint that fun and they influence others along. But there are lots of us still playing casually...now we wait for LOTR (New World real game update)
