APEXISH small work table 2
Просмотров 19 тыс.5 лет назад
( old video) This is just another customer designed work table. Easy to build with Fireball tool squares. Attaching the vertical legs gave a little challenge with the over lapping pieces of angle. Clamping 2 of the cast aluminum monster triangle gave me a large square this allowed me to square the legs easier.
APEXISH Roust a Bout 250
Просмотров 11 тыс.5 лет назад
This lift rocks!! This lift is the Roust-a-Bout 250 from Sumner. I've used Sumner clamps and jackstands before but I also knew what other tools they have... mostly from seeing their display booths at fabtech. So when I quoted this pipe job part of the job is getting the pipe on location and from previous work I knew a forklift would not be the best option. The best option is a slow controlled p...
APEXISH big racks
Просмотров 7 тыс.5 лет назад
These heavy, awkward things are another type of 60 foot long rack. There are 6 pieces to an order and they will be spaced 10 feet apart and connected through the bottom beam with 1" threaded rod. The vertical posts are heavy(6x16 I beam) compared to the base (6x9 I beam) this made it impractical to build them flat on a table in a jig. They were too heavy to move after fabricating so this meant ...
APEXISH Fireball Tool Shop Shims

Making a mounting plate for a stand and I need to match the laser cut holes. I don't have any precision layout tools...Like a granite slab with machinist scribes or a cnc mill with a DRO...but... I do have quality, made in the USA Fireball Tool squares and shims!! These tools are a must for metal fabricator or any type of fabrication shop. These tools make fabricating high quality work easier! ...
APEXISH pipe swing tie in
Просмотров 9 тыс.5 лет назад
When installing after every other craft has had time to put their stuff up, you dont always get the straight shot. The pipe inside the room lined up with electrical conduit on the other side of the wall. So that's the reason for the offset. Big thanks to my buddy Zach for helping with the install!

APEXISH airline header install
Просмотров 7 тыс.5 лет назад
This piece of piping is 37' long and weighs around 1,200 lbs. This is where the 3 large air compressors will feed the airline. Each compressor can put out over 600psi. Big thanks to my friend Zach for helping me install!
APEXISH (pt2) removable platform and stairs

A customer had a new mechanical area built and needed to upgrade the stairs to access the building. They asked for a removable platform and stairs. This adds a few extra steps but also helps speed up the installation. Making it removable also means i can build it completely in the shoppe, take it apart, makes it easier to transport, less onsite work, etc... I left everything i could in the vide...

BADA** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍
Great, Clean work!!!👍👍 If that’s a Klik Fast by Marson, Rivet gun… truly the best. Bought first in 1977, still functions like new and never replaced any parts. Permanent place in my bag. Have a couple air riveters, but that Klik Fast is my go to! Whatever material you work with JD, all same results. Dress right dress, PROPER! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love the incorporated rain gutter. 👍👍
Dress right dress work, JD!👍👍 Definitely don’t see enough from you!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just found you. Your sound track just makes this much more majestic. I love it!
Algo bien
Boa Noite amigo tudo bom gostaria muito de saber quanto custa essa máquina de fazer biseladeira sou da cidade de cachoeiro Itapemirim Espírito Santo tem interesse de comprar uma maquina dessa
@@RomildoSilvaAndradeAndrade it is roughly $4,000 usd. It is well built and a very good tool.
What height did you wind up going on the stand?
From Mexico 🇲🇽 super heavy duty, vs fireball vise the best hard to break
spettacolo 👍💪
Please explain the additional line at 1:38 . Are you using 30-degree treads?
What height from the floor to the bottom of the base of the vise? I just got my vise two days ago, I’m making a stand my self soon. Thanks! You did a good job with yours!
@@bayroadbys2408 my stand is 25" tall and I'm around 6'2"
Thank you Mr. Brewer. You`ve changed my game. Investing in tools and get rid of useless and highly paid helpers changed my thinking. Greetings from germany.
@@mikeuhlmann6825 good to hear, cheers!

БРАВО МАСТЕР!
JD we're missing those video's! How's life? How's business? Passing along good vibes and health.
Love the epic music lol
Hot Sparks hitting building will make rust steaks happen to me shield wall from sparks but you did a great job 👍 keep up the good work. 4:29
Great video...
Finally you are back
❤👍👍👍
The best type of staircase, nice work
One more nice class✌🏽👍🏽🇧🇷
Nice base
Why did door 5 get left out?
The video of me installing is actually door 5.... the finished video at the end was from the day before. I forgot to get a final pic of all 3
I love my fireball mega squares. Make stuff a lot easier and simpler
They're the best!
very good work ... ciao
Thank you! Cheers!
Again a joy for the eyes. Always looks easy when watching someone else fabricating it. This vid gave me grateful ideas to make one myself. First buy many many rivets😂I always love it when most is done by hands and easy tools. Compliments and thank you for this useful vid. Greetz from Holland😀💪
I'm really glad you enjoyed the video and got some ideas from it! I did use a lot of rivets on these but I think they helped with the final appearance. Thanks for watching
too low
where'd you move the dock number to outside?
I moved it to the front center support and mounted it to the front of the awning.... forgot to get a picture of that
then a hurricane can come and the roof won't sway
Fingers crossed!
others would rely on putting in a dowel and screw. but DJ didn't put a screw in the wall to get out the other side
Stronger when it goes all the way through brick and cinder block together
O profissionalismo também está em varrer a poeira depois de furar a parede
I always try to clean up my mess as best I can
Very good
Thanks!
Looks like you might be called back for bay 5 eventually.
Hoping on it!
@@jdbrewer6638 They should have had you tie them together so the wind would not blow rain in sideways. It is only a short span but I bet water comes thru there like it’s being fed that way. It’s how it always goes! Lol
@bcbloc02 you're right Brian, I think that's going to happen.... I'm doing these installs in phases so they can tear down the walls because they have become structurally unsound. So when I go back to install the others I will try and sell that idea.
Nice, JD. The awnings look great. Love your choice of music!
Glad you enjoyed
Great job 👍☘
Thanks!
love how you're using the Bosch laser in combination with the Fireball square to get your mid-rail height! Genius!
Hey JD what do you call that ruler thing that you where using to mark the pip? Thanks
A pipe wrap-a-around
Was the beard net while grinding a requirement of the company? or just to keep it out of the way while cutting?
It's a requirement from the company... nobody want to find one of my beard hairs in their orange juice bottle
@@jdbrewer6638 fair, what about the grinding dust though haha
@stefan Pizzardi which is more gross in your mouth, a metal flake or a 6" Long curly hair
Saving money on flanges I reckon. Until it needs service. 😅
Got to give them a reason to call me back!!
great stuff just tell me one thing why u using the angle grinder in the opposite direction i see sparks flying the other way isnt it way more likely for it to kickback straight into you that way?
Only if you try to push into the side your on...... I pull from the side opposite of me so it pulls down into the material instead of bouncing up. That one little detail keeps me safe and spark free
Great video. Like that you get right into it.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
Nice job 👍 would love to see the compressor that feeds a pipe that big!
I'll try to show it sometime
The music is awsome..
Glad you like it
Awesome to watch how all is lined out/up, welding TIG and FluxCore with Argon? Joy for the eyes how playfully the Old-School grinder is used and let the Flex work instead of putting force on it.😀 To put a 45 degr bevel with the Rigid-machine looks luxurious. I used to weld these pipes Autogeen, but I will switch over to TIG. Just a little question if you allow me: " How is the expansion and contraction of the pipe solved? Just by the 90 degr bends and loose straps or are you using U-Turns, because such high pressure makes the pipes work. Fabulous piece of craftsmanship I enjoyed tremendously. Friendly greetz from Holland, Marcel Knippers. Ps I am just an ordinary Pipe-worker who keeps learning. I am humble when watching this and notice how little I know, even after 40 jrs of steelwork.😁😅
Hi Marcel, Thanks for watching! This run is just a straight run with zero 90s. The pipe is sitting in clamps secured to the building columns. I'm the middle buy the ends are supported from the roof in hangers, which allows for a little movement. The pipe beveller can bevel this 6" pipe in 45 seconds! It makes prepping pipe a breeze and every weld joint is the exact same, everytime. The welds were tig root and hot pass with a dualshield fluxcore fill and cap using 75/25 shielding gas. Thanks for watching!
Steam?
Just compressed air
@@jdbrewer6638 nice work brother
