For one of my own recommendations I definitely 100% really recommend one room of happiness/ Sachiiro no one room. I’m not very good at reviews but it’s a physiological manga where the characters are easy to get attached to and you’re able to empathize with them easily. The beginning might seem strange but it definitely makes sense after awhile!!

Little mushroom is such a nice danmei imo since it strays away from the more popular mxtx ones being cultivation ones, it's a breath of fresh air. Definitely a diamond in the rough for me. As for danmei reccomendations since you liked tgcf Then you should definitely read mxtx's other works (mdzs and svsss) and if you enjoy svsss definitely check out meatbun's works especially 2ha (thought this one has darker themes and definitely includes a few trigger warnings).

Hello! I got one detail wrong in my description of 'Monstrilio' 8:17. (out of context this will sound weird) The grieving mother feeds her son's lung and it becomes a little monster. (rather than planting it in the ground and it growing into a child) As I'm writing this I've read more of this book and am really enjoying it! (pls check TW before reading it💜)

ahh i just read little mushroom and loved it. i'm also a big tgcf fan. i would say my favorite author is priest. i loved silent reading, faraway wanderers (this one is pretty unhinged) and lord seventh. if you enjoy a lot of 4d plot where every detail is important and a smooth writing style, you should definitely read someone priest's stuff. i would say the "objectively" best danmei i have ever read was probably silent reading. i don't care about crime thrillers as a genre at all but this book holy shit. (i also started drowning sorrows in raging fire and really liked it but now i can't find a translation anywhere) priest focused more on plot than on romance, but she has always such a strong cast of characters so I don't mind 😌
