Fair point - I think there are things to like about a lot of airports. In my opinion, the best is Changi because of its functionality, efficiency and ease of getting around - plus some good lounges (including non-SQ, such as Qantas First). I think Doha and Incheon get a lot of name checks because they are such huge and modern structures that people are in awe (but can be a bit soulless and too big in places). I have my personal favourites - namely Helsinki because they have a very good lounge in the form of Platinum Wing for Finnair as well as efficient connections (1h can be more than enough for non Schengen). It would be a stretch to call HEL the best in the world tho! Agree, Al Safwa is a great lounge at Doha! Thank you for watching

It’s quite simple, European airlines prefer the flexibility. On one flight they may sell 10 rows in Business, the next 2 rows. If you had 3 rows of 2 seats, the airline would be limited to max 12 seats - whereas, technically, with 3x3 seating they could sell the whole plane as Business if demand was there. The latter doesn’t happen, but shows why the flexibility is important to airlines in Europe. Not better for customers though

Hi @replicas11 (sorry couldn't see your name!) - not sure on your dates, but I checked a random date and at the moment I think it is the same seat on Bangkok - Amsterdam. The best way to check is to go to the seat selector on your booking, and see if the layout is in 1-2-1 (i.e. 1 seat on window, 2 in the middle, 1 on the right window) or 2-2-2. The one caveat is that airlines can change the plane type...so it is never guaranteed what kind of seat you will get on with airlines that have more than one seat type. As for Amsterdam to UK (not sure which airport), most flights to non-Heathrow destinations use KLM Cityhopper with Embraer aircraft. These are 2-2 layout (same as Economy) but with Business class service but no blocked middle seat - of course the flight is very short so it's not a big issue. When flying to Heathrow, KLM use a mix of Cityhopper Embraers and KLM 'proper' Boeing 737 aircraft - these have 3-3 layout but with a blocked middle seat. I am not sure, sorry. KLM have two main types of seats - this one with all seats having aisle access and their other one where window passengers have to climb over the passenger next to them to get out (2-2-2 configuration). The latter is more commonplace…unfortunately

KLM changes their equipment seasonally and even last minute. They have flown all 777, a330 and 787 into Toronto within the last 6 months. While 1-2-1 is preferred, I have tried 2-2-2 last year and it was still a very comfortable journey.

Hi Peter - I’m about 188, and it was about enough - do I suspect 200 will be a bit of a squeeze. That being said, I suspect almost all Business Class will be a bit tight unfortunately

Hi Deng10ng, it depends on who you have your miles with: - Flying Blue - of course, use Air France KLM - Non-Flying Blue (e.g. Virgin Points, Delta Skymiles) - check on Delta.com then book by ringing your respective programme (e.g. Virgin Atlantic). It's a bit convoluted - but quite often Air France and KLM will only release a limited subset of award tickets to SkyTeam partners meaning those on AF-KLM.com will not always reflect what is available to partners. Hope this helps!
