But not knowing the district we wanted to explore we thought this was the best option. Perhaps with more research we would have decided a taxi ride might have been better.

Hi Anthony, yes we could probably change rooms if we put up enough of a stink but, we really loved our private -semi private-public balcony and weighed out the idea of packing, moving, losing the balcony and the hassles. We decided to just suck it up and embrace the situation and be grateful we had the opportunity to be where we were. Great questions. We normally would not do a whale watch excursion $$$ because we can see whales from the ship and the views are amazing from the ship. However, we figured we were in Iceland so why not give it a try. We did see whales on the excursion. We can say we did whale watching in Iceland but probably wouldn't do it again because the return on $$$ wasn’t worth it for us.Thank you for your question and coming along on our journey around the world.

Short answer: if you have a cabin on deck 17 you can not access Guys Burgers without taking an elevator or stairs to deck 16 or 18. You would need to take an elevator or stairs to deck 16 and would walk to the pool area and walk the stair up to deck 17 or walk past the pool area to the elevators and use the elevator to deck 17. If you go up to deck 18 from your cabin you will come out in the Serenity area from there you would walk towards the pool/lido deck and walk down the stairs to deck 17. We hope this helps.
