Just realised where this is. My fathers friend used to own the old yacht club many would have known him as Boston although his name was Rod owning two ships in leith docks that I worked on as a painter in my early teens. The book Cut Throat was an interesting read begging the question who exactly was my father in his earlier years as he had some extremely questionable feiends from leith to Ormiston

I wonder, have you ever heard of the green lady of the old Royal Mile primary school said to have been murdered by her husband in the school and dumped down the well not far from the school. Many teachers and students speak of an uneasy feeling in a class that used to be held up near the attic where she has made herself known over the years. No doubt the lunacy that is health and safety will not have young students within those areas today. I have had an interest since growing up a door away from a certain reverand Grant known for the greyfriers kirk. While in my end days of the Royal Scots I served some time in the Dalmeny St TA. The very uneasy feeling and reports of haunting by the soldier who lived there were rife. I can whole heartedly confirm that haunting. I can also state a fear of the unknown beneath the ticket station in the waverly. While going to the laundry for my uniform in the early 80s I alwways had a feeling that someone was right behind me. There is an area we had to cross to turn lights on. In that area the walls are tiled with old tiles. The story is that there had been a hikding area for the police which had cells. One night it is said a man hung himself and to this day he haunts the lower floors below the ticket office. To the rear of the ticket officr is the old arch to what at one time had been Stables for the horses. Now having a door which gave access to the lower floor where the cells were. I used to run to the light switch as a 16yr old lad. At times after going through doors to the offices doors would bang slightly when we knew they had already closed

Brunstane farm is a long distance from the old portobello high school.. not a likely place to play truant.. plus we used to go there for years from the 80s-90s and there was nothing paranormal whatsoever.. the scariest thing was the old dog who's lead was attached to a wire on the wall and could chase you the length of the farm

This was a great story , they do say second hand goods can have spirit attachment's so beware. . I wondered if you have ever heard of a sppoky tale about a chap who met the God Pan in Edinburgh many years ago , im sorry i dont know anymore than that ?

That poor young woman Jane, the doctor had a lucky escape by dying, unfortunately we'll never know what his fate would have been. I was very interested in all the eerie stories of the buildings that appear outside Edinburgh the stately homes happy to know some are still standing.

Wow , i never knew any of those spooky tales before . My sister and her family stayed in the Trinity area in the nineties and i had visited a few times and never got told of the haunting goings on. Ive just found your channel and have liked and subscribed. Ill be going through you repertoire

I've just came across this video. And I have cold shivers all over. 19 years ago I was working on a renovation job at Wardle Square at the foot of the steps. One day I decided to go up the steps. as I wanted some lunch. as I knew there there was shops nearby at the top of the steps. Halfway up the steps I saw a shape. Don't know what it was as it was faint. I froze for seconds. Then this fainted shape came towards me .and passed passed through me. I then ran down the steps and into the cottage I was working in. and told my colleagues what had happened!!! I never went up those steps whilst I worked in Wardle Square Square again!!!!

That's crazy so my window bedroom window faced the tower and I used to sit at it every night with my cigarettes facing the windows on the tower never saw anything

I was a pupil or towerbank and lived at 16 figgate bank next door to the tower
