The Save Me Trust exists to protect the welfare and dignity of wild animals. It was founded by Brian May and Anne Brummer to work on the issues affecting wildlife today. Climate change, increasing human population, destruction of habitats and pollution are the most significant factors causing the rapid decline of the creatures with whom we share our Planet. By working together and changing our behaviours, we can achieve sustainable change that supports wildlife, business and the environment, and offers every species a better future.

Brian May The Badgers The Famers and Me: Slurry
The film represents 12 years of research at a practical level on cattle farms in the UK. The new evidence presented is revolutionary and shocking - some will say heretical, and will eventually turn cattle farming practices upside down. You will see here, first-hand, through the eyes of farmers themselves, the monumental failure of British authorities to deal with the terrible problem of Bovine TB in recent years, and the tragically wasteful resulting slaughter of both cows and badgers.

These two adorable kittens are brother and sister, found in Ayamonte, Spain in a storm drain. They were soaking wet, extremely cold and virtually lifeless. Age was estimated at about 6-8 weeks old. Luckily we found a willing foster parent for them two weeks ago and they are currently residing in Caldiz in Spain. Since being fostered their confidence has grown and they love nothing more than bei...

Please save them!!!
What a great soul ❤
Je doe je best om vos jacht te verbieden en ik hoop dat het een keerpunt krijg dat het niet meer mag en dat zou geweldig zijn en Brain May you ar de best 😊😊
Fab documentary!
He’s just wrong, no two ways about it !
So cows living in/eating their own poo don't contribute to disease?
Hedgehogs would benefit from a badger cull before they go extinct.
The people killing the badgers benefit from being paid 50 pounds by the government for every dead badger. How much does that cost the taxpayer with 1/4 million badgers already killed plus all the program enforcement and oversight? I hear it's estimated to be around $3K per badger. As for hedgehogs, stop cutting the hedgerow, stop using pesticides, and slow down when driving. Badgers and hedgehogs have coexisted here for thousands of years!!
His purpose in the programme was to show badgers as blameless in the spread of TB and putting it all on cattle spreading TB to each other as if it were a new concept all false and miss leading cattle spread the disease to each other and badgers spread TB cattle also many peer reviewed studies on it ignored
Well done Brian May for exposing the hysteria and myths surrounding TB and Badgers. There is zero evidence that badgers are the main spreaders of TB to cattle, nor is there evidence that badger culls make a difference. It’s another example of farmers unwilling to take responsibility for their own methods and livestock and instead blame wildlife for all their woes.
He omitted to say that the tb bacteria is very easy to kill.... Sunlight kills it, so when that slurry is spread, it doesn't pose as big a threat as the wildlife..... I don't think Brian May is the right expert on this job
But the TB came from the Badgers in the first place
And where did the Badgers get it from? That question was asked in the documentary if you bothered to watch it.
You need a doctor or a maybe a dentist every once in a while, you need a farmer 3 times a day
Ground burrowing animals do develop TB. There is solid proof. There is also solid proof available that successful musicians cannot keep their noses out of topics that they know nothing about. If you want to help ppl Dr May, help those who are suffering from the effects and stigma of HIV and AIDS. You know that topic more than most.

Sometimes I wish it was us humans that are declining rather than hedgehogs.
Nice vid, but why is Freddie not singing this exquisite song in his special exquisite way?? So, so much better than this version by who knows who, and, further more, who cares who.....This will always be Freddie's song, even though it was written by Brian. Freddie, as with all things, had the magic touch, particularly with this song which he made absolutely majestic. Sorry Bri, wrong choice. Should've had Freddie's incomparable version, but love you anyway.
It is so thin. Need to feed hehehog.
Good for you Brian
❤
Love his music(of course)....but more to the point ...if he is saving baby hedgehogs .... then I love this gentleman! ....Respect ❤️
They're banning slug pellets I hear, should include strimmers, so many badly injured hogs from those things!

Please remove this and delete the similar posts you have on Facebook. This is extremely bad advice and could prove fatal to wildlife. Apart from the fact that this solution will prove fatal to any birds that bathe in it, water tampered with in this way will evaporate during the day, leaving a toxic level of salt for nocturnal wildlife. What you do with casualties inside a rescue, under controlled conditions, and as treatment for a diagnosed deficit, is not what you should advise the public to do in their own gardens to any animal that happens to visit. Death by sodium poisoning is a horrible way to die. The statement on your video that, "You can't rehydrate yourself by drinking normal water." is incorrect, dangerous and frankly quite ridiculous. Nevertheless some kind unsuspecting souls will believe it and cause a lot of harm and suffering by following your misinformation. Wildlife should only be given fresh water, NOTHING ADDED. EVER.
This is not the advice provided by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society on 04 June 2020 "IMPORTANT - We have been informed of several social media posts asking the public to offer re-hydration fluid for hedgehogs in the wild made up from varying quantities of water, sugar and salt. This recipe is intended for dehydrated animals coming into care, not for hedgehogs in the wild. Plain fresh water is all that is required for them. Sadly, this mixture can be lethal for birds if they bathe in it as the sugar will cause problems with their feathers. Please do offer plain water in shallow bowls in the garden for thirsty hedgehogs but do not add anything else to it. Please share this post to limit the damage caused by well-meaning but misinformed posts. Thank you."

As a horsewoman, I whole heartedly believe in this amazing hunt. The love of riding and enjoying the "Hunt" with friends, is enough. There doesn't have to be any kind of animal sacrificed- They were actually here first. its more like steeplechasing and is still very challenging!
Brilliant news, badger culls ending. The down side, of course, is more antibiotics in our food chain.....
Yes! Now this I can agree with!
Good luck Brian, a true gentleman and serious conservationist, badger cull, absolute nonsense, scientifically flawed and morally unacceptable, Brian you are a hero, keep up the good work, we are with you all the way.
Thanks Brian you are the badger's best friend.
When the badgers are all dead, sense will prevail. Great farmer here.
Common sense at last.
Thank you Brian and Wildlife Rocks for making this film, it is so sad and unbelievably cruel that the cull continues and thousands more badgers will be killed needlessly yet again, petition signed.
GOOD LUCK brian i signed petition with all 3 of my email accounts hope this will help. love you !!!
it is so depressing that DEFRA keep killing our wildlifr for no reason
This is so terrible. We love you Dr. May, for your effort and passion to save wildlife. I signed the petition.
