even with the bolt lock pushed in, it only pumps half way and gets stuck. if i have the trigger assembly out it will move back and forth fully. once i put the trigger in it only slide half way back. is driving me nuts any help?

Nice Video showing how to apply heat to remove a Mossberg 88 Magazine Tube, Thanks for the Video. For those commenting that all you have to do is Just unscrew the Magazine tube you have obviously Never removed a Magazine tube that has Red Loctite on it from the Factory on the threads ! This guy did what he needed to do to remove the Magazine with the Red Loctite on it. Not all Mossbergs have Red Loctite on it but if it does you wont just casually reach up and twist it off. Suggest you save this page when you do get one that has the Red Loctite on it when you find that it doesn,t screw off easily it may keep you from destroying your magazine tube . Nice to be able to clean out the Magazine tube from surface rust inside the Magazine or change a Magazine spring or follower for maintenance.

Can i shoot regular slugs with the provided choke?

Ditto as to others on your efforts regarding how detailed your videos are. I'm an 870 enthusiast, now have a few Mossbergs, but there were a few areas in the dis/re-assembly procedures that were frustrating...never commented before on a "how to video" but I felt compelled to give you kudos !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought one of these recently and have seen a number of videos about disassembling and cleaning it, but yours is the only one I've seen that has multiple angles for some of the steps and I'm finding that really helpful. It's hard sometimes to tell the correct orientation of everything if you're only seeing it one way. Thanks!

I got the same setup. The pic rail is great. The optic that came with it was rubish in daylight. Could hardly see the light it washed out by the sun but I figured what tge hey for $30. Switch it out with an AT3 tactical rd50 and its great.

Well that's stupid for what he paid for the gun the hardware and the new barrel and mag extension he could have just bought a Mossberg 500 20 inch with 8 shot magazine I mean it's just stupid to do that
