The problem with CDL and Snipers is something Ive learned by talking with casters. Due to CODs faster pace, sniping encourages camping rather than movement. Compare sniping in COD to CS2. CS2 is slow, you take time to peak and only rush site when certain or desperate. COD, you dont need to worry about tactics as much. Am I saying camping doesnt happen without snipers? No it still does. I personally believe smokes would change this. CDL had so many things it needs to fix. But GA'ing smokes in order to prevent lanes from being blinded is annoying because of AR camping on a heady. Smokes would slow down the game enough for Snipers to be viable again and create a much more even game plan for both teams. Because let me tell you, MW2 was so unfun to play with some of the ARs, especially the meta AR.
