Could be interesting! 😆
Very envious TMF is the first RUclipsr that I started following, and without a doubt my favourite one, great video Murt.👍🏻
Fantastic series.👍🏻
Your favourite!!! What about The Mad Leprechaun? 😆 😆😆 thank you for watching as always! 😁👍
@@barryjmarling thank you! Last one next Wednesday!
Enjoyed that Murt. Always a good chatter that TMF fella!
Thank you Dave! Question is how ever am I going to top that? It’s going to be Wheelie hard! 😁👍🏍️
Excellent interview. TMF is a channel I've consistently watched right from his early RUclips offerings. He's been generous to mention our channel on occasions and occasionally comments. He, out of all the RUclips creators, understands the business element. You only need to look at his desk and garage, a very organised person. We probably should say a little congratulations to TMF's tea maker and other half Carole (with an e). Just passed her motorcycle test. Well done with the chat and perfect audio 👏
Could not have said it better myself. And was a pleasure to chat to and made me feel very welcome. Carol is a wonderful lady, and I’m so pleased that she has passed her motorcycle test. 😁👍🏍️
Well done, enjoyed the chat!
Another in the bag, cheers ! 😊

Thank you mate. Much appreciated. 😁👍

Great job with the interview. One of the best series on RUclips was when RV did Iceland off-road. The cinematography and photography were next level.

It is a cracking bike, I do feel Suzuki have missed a thing by not offering Cruise Control... but it can be added as an aftermarket thing, and I bet Suzuki will offer it as standard equipment on the next generation...

That's one huge event. We've still, as yet, not attended. We're not massive fans of camping. Love it that you can try a range of bikes, but I don't think I would buy a KTM, just too many issues and problems. Seeing the bigger RUclips channels on stage presenting, you can see that to be really successful, you need need to be outgoing and be able to present to a crowd (all stuff we find slightly scary 😂) Thanks for the look around
What an enormous site! Looks fab! Like the look of those Enfields 😊
I can see you on the shotgun! X
Easy to spend lots of money at those ADV vendors!
To be honest it’s probably the best motorcycle show in the UK now. It’s the only one all the manufacturers turn up to. So much to see and do. Yes easy to spend all your money. 😁👍
I must be doing something wrong it does not matter what tyre i put on my GS adventure i get roughley 8,000 km ,with the bridgstone a 41 4,000 km the front was ruined. Not sure what tyre to put on 80,20 or 90 ,10 tyre would be my choice. Perhaps the Metzler roadtec 2.
@@scootjockey all depends on how you ride the bike and if you’re always got luggage on! I’ve had the Dunlop’s on for about 2.5k now and love them! Thank you for your message 😆👍 Murt
How do you find the waist sizing? I always wear Levis, and usually a 38w 34leg (im 6ft 2), but some other jeans companies I have to go to a 40waist as they're a bit snug.
The waist I would say is slightly on the generous side. Plenty of room for breakfast! 😁 Hope that helps. 👍😁
@@the_mad_leprechaun I got mine the other day, in 38/34, bit "baggy" compared to the image on the website, deffo though they'd be more of a slim fit, but none the less, extremely comfy!
@user-fh6ki9fi9v ok glad you are mostly happy! Sorry if you found anything I said misleading! I don’t find them overly baggy, however I’m 55 and sound not be wearing slim fit anything. Please do let me know how you get on. It’s important to me! 😁👍 Murt
@@the_mad_leprechaun Deffo not your fault, I had them in my basket before I found your video, I just watched your video to see other peoples thoughts. I'm 35 and also probably shouldn't be wearing anything skinny/slim fit.

Nice review, and a nice bike. I got this over the RE, even though my off-road travels will be very short and very infrequent, because I loved it so much during my test of it. Your review and that of others informed me enough to accept the minor issues of cruise/tubed tyres etc, which don’t concern me, as this is my leisure bike. These things are fine, if you are able to afford the high cost of parts and service costs, for many everyday Joe's it's cost efficiency which is a large part of the ownership point, especially right now with the current world situation.
In the 3 years I have owned the bike I haven’t been shocked or overwhelmed by running costs. The rumour about the value clearance was just that. A rumour. Like you said Kevin it all depends if you are able to afford it. Take care. Murt 👍
Greetings from N.I. just heard at the last of the Vlog after i made the first comment , it would be very interesting to see your Arnhem vlog as my Father was on the first wave of landing craft to hit Juno beach on D- day, and I traced his movements on his journey. Regards Robert
I hope I find you well in N.I. I was in Normandy last year. I can’t even begin to imagine what your Dad and his comrades went through. I am not smart enough to tell the hole story. So I thought focusing on one man’s journey would be the best way. Thank you for your visit to my channel. 😁👍

@49googie Amazing! Enjoy your trip, I am sure it will be emotional. 👍
do you find the GSA more comfortable because the seats are different from the R1250 GS standard. ??
I had a 1200 Rallye so not sure about the 1250 standard. The GSA Has a bit more room for both of us.
@@the_mad_leprechaun thats interesting as the seats fit both bikes as in the same space, I find the standard gs seat very uncomfortable and the GSA a good bit better.
@@49googieprobably the issue is with the foam used 🤷🏻♂️
@@kevindarkstar Horrendous, its got worse the more miles i do i'm at 20k

Not wishing to piss on your chips but having had a few of these I would now not be given one !! Sounds like you are the lucky one ?? I simply can not afford to run one with £190 per hour servicing costs and parts that are stupid prices .. I now ride a Benelli T.R.K. 502 and find it apart from the power to be every bit as good for less than half the price but the power is more than enough !! Anyway good luck with the bike if you are happy that's all that really matters !!
Mate.... Who's Julie at 2:43 mins in ...?
😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 that’s 2 minutes of my life I will never get back!! 😂
I’ll take your weather over our 95F/35C! Riding in the mountains is great but I miss the smell of a cool, damp day at the sea. If the bike is doing well, maybe hold on to it? Mine will be 3 in March - I figure if I will keep it (and I love it) it’s cheaper to buy an extended warranty for a couple more years than a new bike with as-yet unproven design. Quite the bit of handiwork on that post box topper. Looking forward to your trek in September if you decide to record it 👍
It’s a keeper mate.
Yep and so is my Sally O’Kins 😁
Lovely Heybridge well worth a visit. 1250 is a brilliant bike, think it's a keeper? 😊
Don't you just love the British weather. I can understand you hanging onto the 1250. It's a very difficult bike to better. We're hanging onto our bikes while they remain reliable. The coffee stop looked lovely. That post box capper looked amazing. Some very talented people with knitting needles.
