Stage 4 breast cancer update- the rollercoaster ride continues
Mixed bag of results on my Pet scan this week. Time to change treatments. Looks like I had my last Enhertu and will be moving on to Todelvy. Also have to get MRI so we can get a closer look at the new spot in my spine and decide if we need to do some radiation to knock it out.

So 1 way for you to help if you feel compelled is to s...

Wanted to clarify something regarding Bi-Rads. Bi-rads 0 means the don’t have enough information to render a score. Additional imaging is needed. bi-rads 0 is not an all clear and there is a possibility of cancer in up to 10% of people with this level. Bi-rads 1 means no findings of concern. Bi-Rads 2 means benign finding. Bi-rads 3 means probably benign finding. Bi-rads 4 is a finding suspicious of malignancy. Bi-rads 5 means it is likely cancer (98% of the time).
Just found your channel though I am very late to the “party”. I’m no stranger to breast cancer and was with my mom every step of her 5 year journey. She was first diagnosed at 53. I’m 41 now, had my first mammogram at 35 and it was normal though I have heterogeneously dense breasts which reduces the effectiveness of mammograms. I just had my 2nd mammogram (3D with tomosynthesis) last week (6 years after my first). Unfortunately I knew something was up when the tech said “hopefully it looks the same as it did before.” Sure enough, got the call back for a diagnostic spot compression with potential progression to ultrasound. I’m trying my best not to panic but it’s difficult, especially since I’ve watched this scene play out already with my mom.
Praying for you and hoping you are doing well.
❤❤❤
🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
You sound so strong and give us hope
I’m 69 I also have a BI Rad ;5. I’m in shock and thirteen days until biopsy. Did not feel a lump. It’s the size of an earring back they said. Gods got this he can give us patience! I pray for your journey! I’m scared but just want answers

I hope you're going well praying for you
Was hoping for an update! Sorry its not an ideal update, but we dont have a choice except to move forward sometimes do we? I Started following your story when I was searching Enhertu back in may. Just had dose #5 today. Its definitely a weird drug with a mind of its own. I've had what have been good results but an increase in heart rate and a spot on my lung that this drug isn't changing is the downside. Meeting with a pulmonologist next week and doing some genomic testing. Keep the faith!
❤❤❤
Your memory is amazing to remember all these details.
Love you, dear friend. Always thinking of you.

thanks Heather for having time to update. hope your boy has a good start to the new school year. Sorry to hear you have increased pain. i hope the switched treatment helps to get a rythmn . thinking of you ❤ , silvana x
Prayers up for you and your family. I hate to hear the phrase "new progression". I'm in the same boat with my stage 4 MBC. Right now, I'm doing okay, still without pain, markers are down and unchanged, but I'm dog-tired all the time and sleep too much. I am eating less and the Verzenio gives me diarrhea at random times. Not fun and not the greatest quality of life so I can sympathize with you on that. Radiation therapy will help a lot so praying for you and hoping you get a lot more time in comfort and peace. Hugs from Alabama!
Im so sad to see what you are going through yet trying to be as positive as u can .life can get very difficult, i hope your next treatment works well for you,god bless you and your family ❤
I'm glad to see you post another video. Watching you last year got me through the toughest times of my BC journey. I hate to see that you're still struggling this way. If you ever get a chance, please look into the benefits of taking mushrooms supplements. You can watch Dr William Li or Dr Berg's videos on them. I hope you get better soon ❤
Sending lots of Prayers towards you, hang on💕
