I was diagnosed in August 2022. I’ve been through a mastectomy, radiation, chemo and now it’s immunotherapy. When everything started it was nightmare to think what was ahead and the time involved. Nothing was really that bad and I now realize the time went by pretty quick. I’m not back to normal, but I am getting there. The hardest thing to do is pace myself.
Yes we have to remember to plan time to rest and recover, It is sooo easy to overdo it. Being done with immunotherapy made such a difference too. Hang in there and keep moving forward! You will be ALL done before you know it!
You look amazing! Your face lights up when you talk about your convention week. Love that you were able to share your story. I will keep you in prayer for your upcoming surgery! Almost across the finish line!!!
I'm recently diagnosed and to hear someone who's gone through what I'm about to is so reassuring. You have such an upbeat outlook on things. Hope I can do the same.
Wow, I was just saying the other day that I wish you would make an update video. I recently had my 2nd chemo treatment and things are getting crazy. Some of the chemo (taxole) came out of my vein and got into surrounding tissue causing pain. Now they're really pushing me to get a port 😞. The nausea is also sticking around longer 🤮. Really sucks when you have other ailments too. I'm happy to hear about your surgery. Good luck and thanks for the update 😊
hi Heather thank you for sharing your update over the last year and a half nearly ! ... i followed you but it wasnt because anyone had cancer... but l just wanted to stay with you. last week my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer .. i cant believe it ... i will stay strong for her and remember all you have shared. i just cant believe it though. well done being so brave back to work and recognsing what were the things you needed to do on your conference. your speech was amazing. tc x
The universe seems to put us where we need to be doesn't it? Hugs to your sister. Hopefully I have given you and her hope and proof that she will get through it.
