After they are cut do they need to be in the light to callous? If so how many days after that and when does it need to be placed in soil? After that, when is a good time to water when it is in the soil? Do you use a fertilizer or superthrive?

I can't imagine pruning such a magnificent plant back to a stump! I really don't understand why you trimmed the roots. Could use some explanation. This seems brutal. Like, it will take five years for it to look normal again.

Please buy a longer bladed knife, ideally a serated one. You mad eme nervous seeing you cutting towards yourself with that blade, once slip and wrists are cut. Great video though.
