    You shouldn’t water fresh jade cuttings like that. You should wait 2-3 weeks for the cuts to callous over and start making roots. Putting cuttings into wet soil increases the chances of developing rot.

      Thank you for the comment, I just mist the top of the soil a little bit and I give them first watering after 2 weeks.

      @@superbonsai7537 i don't think succulents need misting. they do best with prolonged dryness and then bottom soaking. 😄

      Yo so I cut my branches yesterday and they already dried out and calloused over the branches are fairly small should I expect budding from it since the branches aren't dead they just never budded

    Can you propagata Jade plant with just stem and no leaves? Did your stem cutting (no leaves) survived?

      cut it and wait for it to heal the cut, then wait for roots to show up and then put roots in the water

    Jade plants absorb an incredible amount of abuse and neglect, incredibly resistant plants!
