1999 to 2007 was like like the gaming mesa peak. Games were obsessing over style and vibes rather than realism, and didn't compromise on substance. Konami was still one of the good guys, Namco was separate from Ban-Die, and Capcom was pumping out masterpieces left and right, and say what you will about sonic 2006, everything that came before it kicked ass, like we retroactively act like everyone hated shadow the hedgehog and sonic heroes, but that wasn't the case growing up. When i think of mario sunshine, okami or crystal chronicles, I find myself getting avatar depression syndrome. We live in really bad times where doing well for yourself is hampered by the world at large heading in an ever scarier direction.

I think Final Fantasy 8 is the most deserving of a remake of any final fantasy game. There is a top tier FF game in there.

EA used to actually make good/great games, including Madden. I know it's not extreme sports but EA being the only company with the right to make NFL games is not a good thing, there's no other NFL games to compete with and innovate and make each other better, they can just put out the same trash game every year and people are gonna buy it and play it cause it's the only NFL game.

I enjoyed and played most of the ssx games but my favorite and imo the best snowboarding game of the 2000s was Amped 3 on Xbox 360. If you snowboard now I highly suggest trying/getting Shredders, it's like skate but for snowboarding.

I loved this video and gave me that good type of Nostalgia. I loved Ridge Racer Type 4 and Tekken 4 had atmosphere that is no longer present in the latest entries, I can still visualize a Tekken where this type of atmosphere still exist. Namco had a way of making games. One game franchise I was hoping to get listed on here was Ace Combat. You should try or watch 4(Optional), 5, and Zero. Those games have a lot of atmosphere, aesthetic and good presentation. All these games made by Namco's Internal Team Project Aces and it carries that Namco Aesthetic. If you were to make a part two of Namco Games, check this game out if you can!
