How many inches is your lift, by the way, it looks fantastic
Looking for some input as I couldn’t reach RC over the phone, so I’m thinking of ordering this for my 13 3500, when reviewing the specs it says a 2.5” minimum lift is required, but mine is 2”, I started wondering why the height would even matter as it’s bolted directly to the tie rods and axle so essentially no matter what height you lift it, your tie rod and front axle are gonna move up together and end up in the exact same spot in relation to each other, just figured I’d ask here to see if I’m missing something completely obvious as to why you would need a minimum 2.5” lift, any input or info is appreciated
Exactly 👍🏻 you must love love your Ram
A light would be helpful with this video
Wonderful video...thank you so much! 2016 Ram 3500
My question to you is, if i delete everything will i still have the chance of my 2020 Ram 2500 going into Limp mode.... thanks in advance
Hello!! Thanks for the video!! I just got my kit and first chance i get will get them on my truck! You make the installation look very simple i hope it goes that way😂
Ok I just want to make sure, how many sensors and what sensors stay unplugged after the delete ?
Next time try a quick clamp to hold it
Is it fine to use the old shocks
The crossover tube was the easiest lol
I struggled the whole way on the left side...
Question, what about the torque specs?
Where did you order your stuff from and how long did it take
While towing the front end feedback is odd and seems to "float" back and forth like the load is swaying. After these, it went away. Thanks for the video. Made it easier to install
I also put a 2.5" Southern truck Leveling kit in my 22 ram 2500 now the front's higher than the back is this normal
"Better safe than sorry" proceeds to use a 3 ton jack, 3 ton jackstands on bricks on what appears to be a sloped driveway. Do it right. Save your money, get longer springs and longer shocks.
Thanks for taking the time to do the video it was great helped me a lot I haven’t tackled yet but you have definitely laid it all out to make things much easier cheers
I had these on my ‘09 3500 for 2 years, I finally replaced them with bilstein steering stabilizers. I was able to use the brackets and setup from the original rough country kit. Now for the bad, when I removed the rough country stabilizers, first- they were badly rusted, I could have lightly sanded and sprayed them again. Secondly- these stabilizers are not positively charged, they rely on being heavily dampened , so after 2 years of basically being mounted where the piston or rod on the stabilizer sits on both while mostly driving straight, after pulling them off, I put one end on the ground and pushed to collapse them. I realized they both had a large dead spot where it felt like they was no resistance, so they probably were not doing any dampening at all on certain lengths of the steering stroke. Hate to say it, but you get what you pay for, invest in some quality stabilizers. Bilstein are certainly not the best but when you go to depress the rod to collapse the stabilizer and let go, it is automatically travelling to extend again along with heavy dampening. If you want the ultimate? Invest in Carli stabilizers,a pair consisting of an upper lower will run you over a grand. Or FOX ATS, a single pass through which has no positive charge, it relies on heavy dampening each way on the stroke. I’m not here to bash this video, but these stabilizers are inferior.
Great vid thanks, I have a 2016 Ram 2500, a friend did a 2" lift and it didn't lift it that much, I have a 2.5" but was thinking of going 3", I just need to know which height will level my truck, yours look nice and level, what was your measurements front and back before level kit, thanks appreciate you
This guy is awesome, thank you!!!
Not worth deleting any of the emissions the epa is coming down hard on people not even just this video but if you are towing anything and get pulled over by DOT they will check to see if you deleted anything and you will get a fine.
“ThroooooAAAAtle valve delete “
They do NOT cut down on emmisions. Here me out. 1 your adding more chemicals to the exhaust (DEF) 2 your destroying the environment with all the plastic jugs that you buy the fluid in and also it takes fossil fuels to make those plastic products. 3 when the filter collects enough soot it then adds diesel fuel to burn it and the it just dumps out the exhaust in an ash form and it hits the ground and then what happens.??? It then rains washes the burnt ash away and then the water evaporates and where does it go. Up in the clouds. So essentially your putting it in the atmosphere with added chemicals and you get shitty fuel mileage so your burning more fuel with emmisions. Woooooooo man saving the environment...
I'm in Canada... so...1200 bucks for about 5 hours of diagnostics and def injector replacement. Check engine light comes on 2 days later again. SCR pipe....that 4 grand plus labour. Complete delete...2k. No brainer for me. Fed up already.
I just put this on my truck and night and day difference expeculy when running bigger tires no bump steer at all
Dude are you fucking serious. I was born in KC MO and I'm in UT
Great video... just install mine use your video thanks alot..👍👍
Did you have a hard time aliment after in stall ?
What happened to the rammer and the videos ?
Soon brother, soon.
@@moparvelousorbust7085 ….cool I resubscribed again. I thought you were gone from RUclips forever. We’ll be here whenever you’re ready. Take care.
Great video thank you! I want to do the same to my truck. Just ordered the same 2.5 leveling kit, but I went with Bilstein 2.5 level kits shocks. Thanks for the tutorial bro!
How they run whit bilsten shock.do you like it?
Just bought a ‘22 power wagon and one of the first things I want is to level it. You made it look easy, thanks for posting!
I ordered mine but they say it won’t delete emissions
Who did your tunes. I ordered mine from PPEI and unfortunately they don’t delete emissions. Wasted $1200
if you need to lift your truck to work on it you dont need dual steering stabilizers....
Just never understand why people use those total cheap spacer in a newer truck. COBBLE JOB
Why did you quit making videos??
I bought a used 2011 f250 from a Ford dealership, I bought a 2 year warranty that covers my AC Engine & Transmission but not my Emissions stuff…. Do you recommend doing the delete since the emissions is not covered?
Solid video thanks brother!!!
These are a huge improvment to me i felt a big diffrence
Great video, thanks! TIP - To install the spacers into the rubber bushings at the end of the shock, I suggest liquid dish soap vs. WD40 or other petroleum-based lubricant as it prematurely will break the rubber down.
Is there a right or wrong way of installing the shocks? I seen some other videos but they installed the shocks the other way. I have my dual stabilizer for my 11' coming in soon
Rough country says i need a 2 inch lift to run this?
Yah I just recently bought an 08 Ram 3500 Bighorn, gonna get a 4 inch lift under that. Thanks for shooting this video here, very in depth. Looking forward to getting to put that lift under mine, making room for 37s
Finally got mine installed today. I followed your video and because of you it was super easy. Thanks again.
Thanks, I have a 2016 Laramie 6.7 Cummings 2500 . I’m 65 years old, didn’t want to trade due to the price. So I have been making my truck a new one, put a 2” level and Fox 2.0 shocks, Chetta turbo. So the next thing is a Carli traction bar and replace my stabilizer. Like your videos and the way you explain this replacement. I’m just trying to figure out the brand to use and two versus one, stabilizer.
can't afford a light to get a better look and more likes? 👎
Should have went with a Carli leveling kit instead of this trash 🗑
gone with carli, which changes the gvwr... yeah do that on a 2500... those things sagged more then my grandmas tits with my plow on. trash.
Did you have to drill anything? I’m looking to get the exact same brand kit for my 14 ram 2500 as you did. It says you need to drill the the factory coil seat but I didn’t see this in your video. Also do I have to get an alignment after? How did it ride without an alignment?
link for the tune?
Other than the fear game of warranty violations, delete the BS off the truck if you can. Its worth the money. Plus your truck will run better and last longer.
