Had the same set of issues as you haha magnets misaligned. Glued them up works like a charm now. But keeping that thing lubed sucks haha. If anyones thinking of switching save yourself the trouble and keep the belt. You will save money not going through cans of lube per month. But I notice a big difference in torque especially on hill climbs. Was able to do a hill climb on the chain drive that I never could do on a belt. But I still wish I just kept the belt haha.

Fixed my issue by upgrading to KO motor and controller, think the stock one was dead.

it should be noted that loctite doesn’t cure unless there is an absence of oxygen. a super glue or epoxy would be a better solution in this instance. thank for all the information though, this was helpful!

i ran my primary chain driver coverless for a while. then i took a black ops 1 disc on xbox 360 and used that as a cover and used double sided tape to keep it in place on the frame

I tried to load my surron by wheelieing on my carrier and I missed and slammed the skid plate on my hitch by accident. I haven't had throttle response since. Removed all my sensors (kickstand sensor, lean sensor, break sensor) but none of them worked. I think this might be my issue. Thank you for the video!

Why did you use a flat head? When I spin my chain the inside spins is that not how it should be? Should I just line it up and glue it in the notch?

Mine is doing these same issues, all works fine but the throttle, I sometimes get it to move an inch or two before throttle cuts out. Mine is a brand new 24’ Light Bee X with 14 miles on it. 😢 hopefully this is my issue.

my sur Ron works sometimes, then will shut off, if I'm doing a wheelie or twisting, then I'll have to restart, hopefully it starts again, but it's happening more and more, taking longer and longer, more trys to reboot

My Surron light comes on, digital display works, horn works but no throttle, replaced the throttle, removed all sensors, replaced display unit, replaced ac dc converter still no joy, looked at the hall sensor and it’s as it should be so totally stumped

Interesting. I imagine a machine key could help keep them from misaligning again. Finding a non-ferrous one that wouldn't affect the magnet might prove difficult though. Though titanium keys arent too hard to find

This is way to much trouble to go through since you could just put a bung with a hole in it for the air lock to go into or drill a small hole use a grommet and and airlock.

i put both of mine all the way toward the front because my new chain was like one link too short, and im getting a little shh shh noise when were driving the chain stretched a bit now so maybe ill move both sides back to the first notch., was your rotor rubbing the whole time or just a little on each rotation?

3:27 I think this was a throttle short, you need to change the connector + put a lot of dielectrical grease into the connector to be sure.

i used a set of lowered cr 125 forks and am now currently putting a set of kx 100 forks on my sur ron.

This is a waste of time. Make a way smaller hole in the lid and insert a grommet for your airlock.

$5,000 bike with a $10 alarm only 115db. Sure it works somewhat but the bikes worth a real alarm. Use a disc lock with a alarm gps. Should be spending $200-$500 on Security the general rule of thumb is 10% of what the bike was
