W ALLHOCKEY GREAT VIDEO
so sad he's gone. i'm especially going to miss his relationship with pasta. they were quite the duo 💔
People underestimate this kid because of his age and size, his work ethic and confidence will make up for it,the sky's the limit with this young man
Bertuzzi > Matthews
Draisatl is a very unlikable guy....
Why?
True....
And now the Penguins have Erik Karlsson. They don't care about the future, they care about the now!
Pasta gets big bucks and the rest get chump change....
Ape kneegrow is the issue with the Oilers.
darn!!
Nylander is a SLUG!! Just like marner both should be traded! If done right the Leafs could not only get some MEN on the team that can actually compete in the playoffs, they could also acquire a few up and coming players as well as draft picks! The Leafs are NEVER winning anything with these two soft little boys on the team!
I said so at the time.. Nurse's contract is horrific, and would badly hamper the team down the road. TA DA! He's a 4.5 -5.5 mill D man at best. He took a few amazingly immature penalty's in the Playoffs, but so did a number of Oilers. They let Kostin walk when they could have signed him for 2 mill, and way overpayed Nurse and Campbell, and lost Bugstad because of that. Yet fought to sign Mcloud?? Oilers are now weaker by far then last year even. Just Brutal regression.
Buddy you’re so lost lol. First off, the d market was inflated when Nurse signed we had no choice or let him walk. Mcloed is more talented than Kostin at the same price. Bjugstad wanted money, can’t afford him when we needed to sign a winger and Bouchard. Campbell was a gamble in an off season that had little to no goalie options.
@@Turtle9775 Amazing. "The market was inflated"... So in your mind, when the market is way inflated is a good time to overpay a D man by about 4 mill a year and then wonder how that hurt the team for years and years after cap wise. Interesting reasoning. But what a smart person would have done is let him walk and got 2 solid vet D men in for that same money or less. Kostin was one of forwards this team had with any physicality at all, and they were battered around last year by Vegas even with him. Without him they are are now right back to being a powder puff soft team. If they had let Nurse walk, they would not now be losing Kostin and Bjugstad. But you didn't think of that did ya, because your so smart. And picking up Campbell was just flat out really stupid. Difference tween you and me, Is I said all this over a year ago.)
They lost because Skinner was not ready for the starting roll and Campbell was a disappointment. Anyone knows if you don’t have trust in your goalies you start playing fragile and play a different game when you see easy goals go in. The Oilers had the best record since January and that was because Skinner was playing with confidence and he admitted that he got real nervous playing in his first playoffs as a starter. 😮
They lost because they wer etired, keep play 11-7 and letting Connor and leon suck all the ice time for records.... Same goes for Boston chasing a pres. cup points record... manage the team ....don't let the players run the team....SIMPLE
@@brentmac6342 the coaches made that decision not the players anyone knows that. 🧐
@@RR-hu9ht LMAOOOO OK, Signed ex PA Raider, Might know people in Oiler Org, have a great day........🤣
Look CONNOR IN THE EYE AND GO TELL HIM YOU'RE CUTTING HIS ICE TIME BY 5-8 MIN TO REST FOR PLAYOFFS, TELL ME HOW THATS GOES......LMAOOOOO, oooops caps lock, have a good day......
Who cares it's all about money and catering to and the selling of weak markets. Lmao Lmao. Lmao
Good move Boston 👍
All they need is a goal tender.. if vegas can do it with a back up. The oilers can do it.
I liked him in Boston, but not for a six-, or seven-year contract. Often injured player. Boston was limited for the small cap space they have. Not blaming the Bruins on this one. They went all in last year & gave up a lot, only to fall way short in the Playoffs. They took a shot.
🙋 promo sm
Great video. My heart aches for the roster loss but I can only smile at what he’s been through for that spoked B. He’s the definition of Boston Bruins. He’s one of the greatest ever.
Thanks! Sucks to see him go but he is a Bruins legend.
I'm okay with the Oilers continuing to lose in the playoffs
They are very close. Doesn't seem like there's much losing ahead.
And what exactly would your reasoning be behind that?
@@night_thrasher40 They have a lot of very good players that are motivated to win, and they have a team around them that's capable of winning a cup.
@@allhockeyyt I completely agree with you, personally I think Edmonton and Vegas are still top of the league right now. I believe it'll come down to those 2 teams again. Season hasn't started yet and anything can happen, but I do strongly believe Edmonton is within reaching distance of Lord Stanley
Excellent summary - best that I have heard ! But you overlooked that Oilers were about to beat Vegas when Nurse got goaded into a suspension by a rookie... who then scored the winning goal the next nt. Nurse has been the goat of every playoffs - who knows why but he has been & he has to fix himself or coach has to teach him - but can't have $9.3mil players taking undisciplined penalties... & many others did this. Also RNH was a big problem.
Thank you! That suspension was very questionable for sure, and Nugent-Hopkins will have to step up his game in the playoffs.
Kadri?
Buddy, lay off the pipe.
Oilers will get their cup but not next year
They are definitely very close. It’s only a matter of time.
Just need a bit of luck to get on a run. Get a hot goalie or get the right matchups. Took Colorado a few years to get there also
You won't really know who won until we see who that 1st rounder in 2025 turns out to be.
Florida will likely be competitive at that point, so it won’t be a very high pick.
@@allhockeyyt For sure, you're looking at high 20's, at least.
Good trade at the time for both teams. But Flames made a huge mistake paying Huberdeau 10.5m for eight years starting at age 30. Weager's contract may not age well either 6.25m, eight years starting at age 29. Imagine in the Flames had gone into this summer with 16.75m in cap instead of those two players. Doesn't really matter what Tkachuk did with the Panthers, Tkachuk was leaving the Flames as UFA in summer of 2023.
That Huberdeau contract is looking rough right now, but I could definitely see him bouncing back.
@@allhockeyyt For Huberdeau's sake and the Flames sake (though I'm not a Flames fan). I hope you're right. Personally I can't see it, and I don't like the term on the aging Kadri's contract either. Somehow the Leafs must've thought it was fine as hired Trevling as GM....replacing the the inept (IMO) Dubas
@@keithball6480 I'm not saying he's about to get 115 points again, but it's fair to expect him to get back to at least a point per game.
I'm a long time Wings fan who ahs lived in SJ for over 20 years now. Strange as it may be Zadina could be a "Young Veteran leader" on a rebuilding Sharks team.
The Sharks will definitely need him to play up to his potential if they want to be more competitive.
@@allhockeyyt Like you mentioned he just slid down the depth chart. Some guys need those top line minutes to get in a rhythm to feel the game. It's hard to play 3rd or 4th line minutes after playing top line minutes in juniors. I hope he plays well.
@@brandons9138Your 100% right. He's skill guy that needs his minutes in the top six.
Why do you think Yzerman so willingly traded him? He couldn't get a reasonable deal done in Detroit. Beware... the life raft you think the other GM is throwing you is actually tied to an anchor🤔
Yzerman was probably was reluctant to sign him to a long term deal because of all of his injuries.
I don’t think Karlsson will get traded , he doesn’t fit in Carolina and Dubas isn’t the type of guy to make that big of a trade. Love the vids keep it up ❤!
Thanks! Wherever Karlsson goes, I hope he gets a good chance to win.
ruclips.net/video/5ZwRQ3gpsMw/видео.html
Bye see ya later wrong choice buddy
He’s got to do what’s best for him.
@@allhockeyyt yeah a one year deal 😂 he definitely did what was best for him....
@@wrxspeed5042 Clearly there wasn't a market for what he was looking for on a long term deal, so the one year was best for him. He has the chance to get paid big next summer.
@@allhockeyyt if he stays healthy Boston would of gave him a one year but he said he wanted to test free agency he wanted a 6 year deal but decided oh I'll sign one year with the leafs I don't like that kind of stuff he should of just been honest
@@wrxspeed5042 Like I explained in the video, when he went back to Boston they couldn't afford him.
Yeah baby! The same old ass team with lousy d and shitty goaltending is back. I will continue to enjoy the fall. Tank job 3.0 coming soon...
I'm confused about the 13.35 mill over 3 years. Isn't the max 950 000 annually? What am I missing?
That’s the maximum “base salary.” Entry-level contracts, especially for players like Bedard, carry crazy performance bonuses typically and all kinds of other caveats that ultimately make the player a lot more money than their cap-hit of $925k-$950k
I get all that.... I think I just had a problem with how the beginning of the video was worded. He said the contract was WORTH 13.35 million over 3 years. Technically, the contract is worth 2.85 million over three years WITH THE POTENTIAL to be much more with performance bonuses. Just a wording issue. No worries! I hope the kid crushes!
@@100ballster yeah I gotcha, that makes total sense. Would’ve made more sense if it was worded that way instead. But agreed, I hope he kills it! Such a big fan. Anyone who loves hockey can’t help but be excited
@@gavinjohnston8156 Absolutely 👍🏻
Huhhhh
Bedard is gonna be good but not that good, he can get some but not all definitely no trophies, but could be an all-star
Definitely think he can get at least 60 points.
EK 65
There due for the cup Becoming closer and Closer each year Edmonton hard work will pay off soon
They are looking good. It’s only a matter of time.
@@allhockeyyt I agree ☝️
Imagine that Peter Chiarelli screwewd up so bad that this contract become his legacy.
This was definitely one of his good moves.
🐀 🧀 just missed it last year
LMFAO!
Well he left the leafs in a cap mess so it’s only time he’ll screw the penguins.
Many teams barely have any cap space with the flat cap.
Draisatl has an amazing contract and the Oilers are lucky to have him for so cheap!
Great contract, such a steal for the Oilers.
Love the leafs born raised in Toronto but I already know what’s gunna happen there’s another big gun on the leafs on his last year as well if we lose them both for nothing we suck next year and probably suck for a while nylander is my favourite player would kill me to see him go but it’s gunna happen unfortunately no way the leafs can keep him for 9 but your not wrong nylander earned it
Yeah I could definitely see him waking next summer, but the free agent class is so good the Leafs wouldn’t have a hard time replacing him.
vegas should be on the bottom 5 list, they traded all their prospects and young players away
They have a very shallow prospect pool, but at least they got a cup.
Hey buddy. I think you are pronouncing the general managers name wrong. You are saying Dubas, when you should be saying DUFAS!! Come on, get it right. Put some respect on that little weasels name!!
He’s quite a good GM. He deserves some respect
They'll win the lottery in a few years when there is a generational talent to draft so that they stay relevant just like Chicago cause that's what the NHL wants.
Or because they’ll be really bad.
Devils are massive
They are scary right now, I can’t imagine in 5 years.
