    what we need to talk about is willys father is the one gauging for the money within his deals, not saying willy cant make his own deals but his father plays a huge roll in the money talks

    And for Nylander's Money, Toronto could pick up four players willing to do what is needed to win the CUP!!!

      That's true, but he also has lots of value and it would be a huge loss if he walked for nothing.

    10mil a season, he’s gotta go

      $10 million is too much money. I'd say around $8.8 million is fair.

    The superstars on the Leafs, need to STOP thinking about lining their own pockets with millions, and START thinking about what is BEST for the team? GO LEAFS GO!!!!

    • @allhockeyyt

      It definitely seems that way right now. 10m+ is too much money for him in my opinion.

    WHY wouldn't anyone want to play for Toronto, when they pay you big dollars for mediocre play and have NO playoff drive!!!

    Don't want Nylander. Resign Bertuzzi and Domi for a bit more than Nylander wants. Leafs don't need a player who has failed to add any aspect of defence to his game. Watching him cherry pick all series against Florida and looking like he is flying is because he is incapable of skating 200 feet. Calgary is looking for anyone who will sign their so let's get a dman and some picks for Nylander.

      Nylander is very good, but he isn't the best two-way player.

    Fly by Willie.... He did trip and stumble, as a result did have 1 hit in the playoffs... LOL..

    Love the leafs born raised in Toronto but I already know what’s gunna happen there’s another big gun on the leafs on his last year as well if we lose them both for nothing we suck next year and probably suck for a while nylander is my favourite player would kill me to see him go but it’s gunna happen unfortunately no way the leafs can keep him for 9 but your not wrong nylander earned it

    • @allhockeyyt
      @allhockeyyt  Год назад

      Yeah I could definitely see him waking next summer, but the free agent class is so good the Leafs wouldn’t have a hard time replacing him.

  • @gordonbgraham
    @gordonbgraham Год назад +1

    They'd have "upwards of 9M a season" in return. With Bertuzzi and Domi...and Reaves the Leafs got a lot tougher to play against than having this soft af winger who backs out of checks

    • @allhockeyyt
      @allhockeyyt  Год назад

      Cap space is a huge asset with the flat cap, but so is Nylander.

    • @gordonbgraham
      @gordonbgraham Год назад +1

      @@allhockeyyt Yes, Nylander is an excellent player, but the Leafs most pressing need is on D. Nylander is looking for something with a 9 in it at minimum, so the question becomes Nylander @9 or 9 plus...or using that 9M to shore up the D. As a Leafs fan I hope Treliving sees the latter as more important. Either way...I don't think I "should be worried". Cheers!

      I think around what Timo Meier got would be fair, so an 8x8.8.

      @@allhockeyyt In a Cap world...saving 9M isn't "nothing". They can either flip him at the deadline for a boatload of picks or use him as an "own rental" as players tend to perform best in contract years. Either way, that cap space could be used to shore up the D or sign a guy like Aho who becomes a UFA the same time as Willy
