Great video. Any chance you can do an I/O 101 on signal flow…what goes where and what equipment you use for each source. I’m trying to build a studio for a client and while I don’t have the kind of money on some of this equipment- understanding what goes where and why certain equipment is used would help in understanding the flow. Thanks for all you do!!

The egg shaker, tambourine, triangle, random foley, “omms and ahs”, hum into a frequency analyzer to figure out the melody mic . (mine is a golden age tc1 going right into my interface,) Its not a good vocal mic but its great for sound FX.

I haven’t had the WA76 in years but my memory tells me this new batch is leagues above in terms of retaining the bottom end as well as not mushing up the signal. The stereo version may be in my studio soon. Nice demonstration.

Why does the dry signal on the WA76-D2 (when you play with the wet/dry knob) come back in wider stereo then the wet? The stereo image totally changes anyway! 🤔

They do sound great. The only knock I have heard about Warm Audio products (from a very good tech) was that they were essentially un-repairable because the pc boards and traces within were too thin and fragile to handle being re-soldered. This was about 10 yrs ago and I wonder if they have addressed this issue?
