Thrilled to be attending on Sunday. Can't wait to see you race!! Best of luck, Jake! See ya there! Let's grab a pic💯
Go well on Sunday Jake! 👊
Nice Video! Good Luck for the meet!
You don’t seem very happy Jake 😅
Thanks for sharing your running journey.
Good luck for Sunday, is there anywhere you can watch NB grand prix in the UK?
Should find it on World Athletics website!

fire vid
Good luck for the season Jake, be watching the NB meet on Sunday.👍
7:55 lmao
Made it into a Wightman vid let's go
That’s the way you workout . I didn’t notice but, I didn’t see him checking his blood lactate levels
No point not a threshold workout
@ he still should be taking blood samples , even on this type of workout … it’s good to see where he is . Just like keeping track of heart rate ….. it’s always good to get as much data as you can while working out !
woke nonsense
@ another Trump supporter turned track expert . lol
@@ZATHURAKEY nailed it mate
Do well in New Balance meet , I’ll be watching
I'm 49 years old and signed up for an 800 in a few weeks. I love hearing you talk about how running that fast is hard on your "old body!" because the training is KILLING me! Good luck in Boston and the rest of the season.
Im 42. Pushing 43...life is brutal...
Go Jake Nice to see you back on the track mate
🙏🙏🙏
Jake what shoes do you use for your long runs/warm ups!
Jake would you consider much later in your career a transition to longer distances ?
9:12 holy hell 24mM with bicarb!?!?!? i wanna see that hr/pace/lactate curve!!!
good call reducing the cost base while in the uk too...manchester will allow you to save many more quid to pull through to 28. good luck.
Great to see you back Jake, both training and videoing! Good luck this season.
We love you Jake ❤
Hi Jake! Do you have a public Strava? If yes what is it?
Good luck for indoor season Jake!
Jake is a warrior!
Lets go Wightman! good to see you back
Maybe it would be useful a lab test to determine the treshold, whats a good lactate and what is too fast right?
Great update! The indoor 3000 in Glasgow is definitely a good omen for a solid indoor season. Ben Pattison, though, is a human enigma. The guy had never broken 1:44, and then out of nowhere, he runs 1:42 in Monaco. If he ever decided to take the 1500 seriously, I wouldn't put it past him to run a string low 3:30s before suddenly pulling a 3:27 out of his hat.
Great to see you back 👌👌 well done with the 3k
You’re my idol
Jake showing once again why he is so popular with the running fraternity. Open, honest, self depreciating, but more interested in others than himself.
Ben Pattison was a nobody to that American guy 😂😂
Great to see you back 🎉
Great vlog... thanks for all the insider info. Love it!
It's a free world. But in all honesty, why is a foreigner and an olympic enemy of american athletes allowed to come to USA to train? Stay in your own country and use your own mountains
Good to see you training seriuosly again, Jake. Congrats on the 3K in Scotland! Re 800/5K guys. Steve Ovett ran a good 5K (in the 13:20s) a few weeks after winning the Olympic 800 in Moscow. Can't think of any other Olympic (or world champs) 800 winneer who could have done that.
Good to see you back Jake
INDoor 1500 or 800 title is yours
you would have medalled at the 800 🙌🙌 greatest brit over 8 and 15
Jake running in carbons? Game’s gone 😞
Jake please but your old pal kerr back in your pocket and have a great year
Some crazy lactate numbers. For me being a slow endurance athlete 7 would seem pritty high for a threshold session.
Keep in mind the lactate numbers are as well driven by the lack of energy required to convert to lactate, as glycogen stores get depleted. For the same effort you can have different lactate levels depending on this.
That fan should’ve asked you to race. Give him 3 years and I’ll predict he’ll beat you!
We will see if he can stay healthy and even if he does I don’t think he can be one of the top 5 . I do really like him as he seems like a great guy in these videos and he is a incredible athlete
Wondering when you'd drop another video. Good Luck for the season, it'l be great to see you racing in 1500's again.👍
The encounter with the fan was just like The Chris Farley Show.
Glad to see a new video from you. Maybe try to do one more than once in seven months.
Jake please don’t get injured this year if you stay healthy you are unstoppable
I don't think he ever chose to be injured 😂
Yeah he's doing everything he can to not be just unfortunate
Eyyy great to see your content back and thriving!
