Oh wow I missed this . Just checked out your page and found it just now. Downloading now ...thanks so much
Hi, this looks like a great image. Im new to this, so probably a silly question, but how do you get this up and running? I donwloaded from drop box, and ended up with multiple zips, which I then extracted, ending up with 2 files, 1.img and 0.fat. I flashed 1.img to my SD card, using raspberry pi imager, but on booting from the USB, I get a "no fat32 partition found" type message. Any help much appreciated!
Hello:) Thanx for nice words:) There is also download link via Arcade punks, it should work.)
@@tomaskonvicka4135 thanks for this, i think I did get this via arcade punks, but ill give it another try.
@@tomaskonvicka4135 hi and thanks again. I tried this (using the dropbox link on Arcade Punks) , flashed the img file to my SD card, and now get boot errors "invalid ELF header: start4.elf', and same message for "start.elf", followed by "firmware not found". I wonder if these are corrupt files in the image? Is there anything else I could try here (Ive spent a lot of time on this now - im desperate to get it working!)

Very fun game, thanks for posting ;)
I'm having issues with this image. It seems it won't install into a regular 64gb sd card, both Pi Imager and Win32DiskImager say I need a bigger sd. How so? It's true W11 detects both cards I have as slightly less than 64 gb, but that's usually the case with all sd cards/usb drives. Any advice?
@@hachadorada Hi. It's filled to thé celling. Download version 1.1, fits on the 64gb SD card better. Or use 128 gb card.
@@tomaskonvicka4135 thanks, I'm now downloading the 32 gb version. I wonder if I can copy the additional amiga roms from this release into it later.
@@hachadorada I don't know what version you're downloading, if it's the "Only comps" version it can be combined with the content from the 64 GB version 1.1, but you'll have to do it via Linux. The Amiga content is the same, it's the other platforms content that's different. As I wrote the 64 GB version 1.1 should be able to be written to any SD card with no problem. (I recommend Samsung btw)
Hi Tomas! How can I do to change the screen mode. I can't see all the screen on my 4:3 monitor connected to the raspberry Pi3b+. Thanks a lot
IHello:) f possible, go to Settings (cog wheel), Raspi config and there you can set the screen mode. Another option is to connect the card to the PC, there is a small "boot" partition, there you can find the config.txt file and write hdmi_group=2 hdmi_mode=16 instead of the current mode.

Yes, of course it's possible. Just copy the WHDload lha files to roms/amiga1200. You just won't have the reflection boxes to do it. I'll get them done in time. In case of missing boxes, it's a good idea to switch to the AlekfullNX theme, tile mode.

Hi, first of all I thank you for the work you do. Some time ago, when I subscribed to your channel, I downloaded the Raspberry version and it always worked well. Now I would also like to try this Retrobat for PC, but every time I try to download from Dropbox it gets to a certain point and then it stops and unfortunately it is not possible to recover the download. @@tomaskonvicka4135 I’m very thankful, using your Tomato 2.0 build on my Pi 3 and the 1.1 on my Pi 4 is like browsing memories of the past. I rediscovered some games I had, but forgot their existence. You gave the hole thing a unique look, even better than the A500 Mini front end. The golden age of Commodore gaming is something special. Over 3.000 Games and everyone had some. We traded our games during the weekdays in school or with family members on the weekend. There was no internet. We only had a telephone at home. Today something unbelievable for younger gamers. 'Gaming together' was our key to success. You can’t compare the late 80th and early 90th with the present. We were three or four people, sitting in front of one computer - and yea, it was an awesome experience. Naming 10 Games that made it to the top is hard and a bit unfair, because every game had its playtime. I didn’t mentioned «Lotus 2» for example, but it’s one of the games that ran for days. «Zool 2» Finally the Amiga gets a great Jump'n Run game. «Uridium 2» Selling the holy C64 for buying an AMIGA 500 hurts. With this game the good old feeling came back home …in, wow, what a great graphics update. «Super Cars 2» Hated at the beginning, loved at the end. Great gameplay for two players …until Micro Machines appeared. «Speedball 2» I scream ice cream. Two player computer heroin, makes you addicted in minutes. «Lucas-Games» It doesn’t matter what game. We played them all during colder month. 11 Disks for Indiana Jones 4 …and none of us has become a famous DJ. «Wings of Fury» minimal in it’s presentation, maximum fun at all. «Turrican 2» Eat. Play. Sleep. Repeat. After a game is before a game. I played it for listening to its great music. «Sensible Soccer» The world of 96/97 was dedicated to computer soccer. «Pinball Dreams» Why? Because everyone loved it. No joystick required. No rules to explain. Even my Aunt played with us for hours. «Lemmings» In real-time you’re loosing a lot of lifetime. OMG, I remember writing down a lot of codes instead of saving to disk. I’m sure I’ll find more lost memories while playing with the Tomato Pi.
nice, tanks from Brasil.
Mine loads the boot screen then the disk with the amiga disk sound, then just hangs on command screen with the little raspi cupcake thing. I hear music in the background but that's all

@@tomaskonvicka4135thanks for the quick reply! It's so weird on my pi400. I tried to input a save file name in cannon fodder and the keyboard is not working properly so I could not save the game.
@@marclivingstone I figured it out:) Press ScrollLock on your keyboard. This allows you to switch between Game Focus mode and normal mode. This mode allows you to use a keyboard fully dedicated to Amiga, C64, etc. However, this mode will disable Hot Key functions on the joypad such as Enter Menu, Save States and Exit Game. This mode can also be enabled as default in the Retroarch menu, but I don't think it's necessary.

I know this video is now 2 years old but I've only just started trying this out. This is an amazing piece of work for sure! Just one question - how do I disable the smoothing shader that is running over everything?
Thanks a lot for the compliments:) The bilinear filter is a natural feature of the old Amiberry that cannot be turned off. But it's also the only emulator that works well on the slow Raspberry PI 3. Newer versions of Amiberry allow you to turn it off, but it doesn't work there with speedhack, which makes it run smoothly. People turn on all sorts of CRT simulations, and this is actually the most natural. Even on the old monitors, it didn't look that sharp. When you go to the newer Raspberry PI4, I've done a similar image there, it's already sharp and there are different settings.

Hey. Hey. There is no official version of Hired Guns for CD32. But recently a fan project appeared, but I don't know if it is still in development, here is a link to the beta version: archive.org/details/hired-guns-cd-32-dev-files
I've just installed this in my arcade cabinet and it's such a great image. Thanks for building it. In case you still check the comments here I have one question: since I use joysticks on my cabinet I can't get some Amiga games to work which need a mouse such as Lemmings or Populous. Is there a way to tell these games that I want my joystick to move the mouse pointer?
Thank you so much for the kind words, I'm glad you like it. The mouse is assigned to analog sticks and real mouse. If you want to control the mouse, you have to build a track ball into your arcade cabinet. Or the way to go is to enter the Retroarch settings and set the digital arrows to mouse for certain games.
@@tomaskonvicka4135 Thanks for replying! I do have two PS2 style controllers also connected, and they have the two analog thumbsticks. However these thumbsticks don't move the mouse cursor in-game either. But they are working because they behave the same as the d-pad when navigating the interface, selecting games etc.). Do you have any advice for me to get the thumb sticks to work as mouse in-game? I appreciate you taking the time to reply!
The system recognises the two PS2 controllers as 'Microsoft Xbox 360 controller'
