@@groundedash that walk was worth it, but I also did it on a hurt left foot that is still healing. So its a bit sore today. gonna let my foot heal fully before going on more barefoot walks. I'm sad though that by the time that happens, it will likely be too cold here until it hits spring.

Definitely barefoot more often than not lol. Ironically, I have to keep them in socks quite often so they don't become cracked and dry.

That’s all well and good but I don’t care for my feet for anyone but myself. It’s about keeping them clean and healthy so I can function at my optimal, from the ground up.

Oh it’s just my iPhone! I do obviously live a charmed life but not quite charmed enough to have video equipment in the budget (yet). I’m deeply hoping to have the account monetized (we’re making great progress!🤞) and when I do my earnings will go toward improving the channel. As always, so grateful the videos are helping you feel good. @belllame I know I have said this before but I still highly recommend getting a grounding mat on your bed since you’re cooped up in the city. It will change your life!

A minimalist shoe is one that is designed to allow for natural foot gait and movement. Typically that means it has a thin sole, zero heel to toe drop, and a wide toe box to allow for full splay. I prefer bare feet as often as possible, but such as in the case of the stickers as I showed here, there’s definitely a place and time for healthy, ‘minimalist’ foot shaped shoes!

Well ... dear @@groundedash , I think I understand. So they are a kind of shoes. So shoes. So not for me. In my case, something "minimalist" would be the flip-flops. Anyway, with the money that I would give to buy shoes, I can buy more useful things. E.g : a good food, colors for painting, a (video) camera, fertilizers for my exotic plants in the greenhouse, or books ... but never shoes ❗ 🙂

I love that you know what works for you! Flip flops don’t fit the ‘minimalist shoe’ category because without the heel strap, we are forced to alter our natural walking gait in order to keep them on. This is not a big deal for people like you and me who are mostly barefoot, but many people who need to heal foot injury from shoes will not get help from flip flops. We all prioritize our finances differently. To me, foot health is a priority right along side movement and healthy food. As much as I love my plant and fur and human babies, I have to make sure I am healthy and resilient first so I can better care for them!

Dear @@groundedash , I pressed the "Subscribe" button a while ago, seeing you walking barefoot and happy through the forest. So through Nature ... and so through the "Earthing" phenomenon. Then, seeing those sandals, I imagined how heavy it would be for me to drag those objects with me at every step. And automatically I became happy, because I don't have that "pleasure" of wearing shoes. If I was born to live barefoot... Thank you!!! This one really came together impromptu, and I think the element of not caring too much or having anything to say actually made my voice a lot smoother. I do hope to put together something more useful for you, like a more formal guided meditation or yoga nidra- that way you have something you can come back to for relaxation and don’t have to wait for fresh vids! I’ve had the toe ring for ages, and recently added the permanent anklet. I’m a sucker for gold! It is high vibrational and makes me feel luxurious. I have a few dainty pieces that I generally leave on and forget so I can bring a dose of femininity amidst my active lifestyle. This video I just had my little Casio watch on (don’t want emf from a smartwatch, although I’m considering getting a Garmin for safety on the trail). Sometimes I wear a 108 bead mala wrapped around my wrist which is the only ‘jewelry’ I wear that is of significance- I make them myself as both a meditation tool as well as for gemstone frequency healing. Sad your summer is over already! We are having a heat wave in SoCal this week, well over 100 degrees so I’m definitely keeping layers to a minimum. Appreciate the love as always!

Ooof this 2-4 week pace is all the computer time I can muster. I’m a beginner with bare bones equipment and they take a long time to edit. I’m so happy you’re enjoying and ideas are coming in hot so I’ll be keeping them going as quick as I can 🥰
