Miles should be his own character.. His not spider-man His hero name should be prowler even with his spider powers it just makes more sense.. Miles has no spider sense instead his able to go invisible and make other things and people invisable when he touches them based off of the same mechanism that gives peter his spider sense Peter can sense stuff Miles can invis stuff Miles can kinda sense stuff but it's not the same as peters it's more like him picking up on light based stuff Peter picks up on energy

I feel there are way to many hero's all packed together on earth in the same time frame I prefer hero's being more spread out in space and time it makes them more impactful I like guardians 1 it's a good base to work off of tho some of this needs changing The aliens randomly kidnapping him is gone replaced with them tracking the guns his dad left for him He thought they where toy water guns as at the time all they shot was water after filling them up The guns need charging with an element before it can shoot that and much later on the guns are further fleshed out I like star-lord as having a urine connection to weapons like THORs hammer for example he can pick it up even gaining power from it as his outfit is permanently mutated to fit THORs style.. But quil feels the hammer isn't giving him power it's drawing it out and that he needs to throw it so he does and we find way later that actually help THOR Alot getting his hammer back Quil was using star light lightning instead of normal lightning.. Also just briefly using the hammer permanently changed his space masks look His still back to being human again This star lord is more of a weapons collector even having a hidout full of weapons and gear he found this helps later as these weapons actually help with other characters Based off of the second movie I'd change Alot.. Ego is just an exiled king of spartax he still has his powers but this is due to him giving up his humanity and fully embracing his earth element becoming a planet and spreading to other plants Quil kills him At some point quil dies and finds himself in a different plan of existence until he makes his way back and finds his fully unlocked his star power his literally powered up by stars his near making him abit stronger, able to breath in space and fully charge his pistols freely He kinda becomes space racer from invincible At some point one of his pistols gets destroyed and id want that to be a turning point for him He no longer uses that weapon keeping it hidden just in case he ever has a kid so they can have it Instead he empowers other weapons to do the same thing he was doing before Spartax are direct descendents of gods also related to thanos (at some point where he takes half of life he spares all of them as he spared himself, their relation to him saved them leading to them fighting against him later on) Due to this close relation most spartax are born with mutations making all of them mutants but it's been going on for so long that it's become normal for them even having entire blood lines dedicated to powers.. Quils powers are an enherited bloodline mutation where his able to absorb and embody all forms of energy physical and otherwise making him an elemental vanguard.. (it's kinda like how rogues powers work but way more in depth given it's have 1000s of years to develop from person to person quil could effectively cencel out mutant powers given connect.. The only issue is it's from his spartax blood and his half spartax half human so his human half likes to hog the wheel) His a normal human most the time it's only breif moments he taps into his powers and it's rarely understood until he dies and comes back and changes his MO The reason his bloodline was the direct line was purely due to the power it can literally nullify and absorb other mutant powers so no one could fight against them in their quest to become kings.. A civil war stopped that tho thanks to thanos again Quils dad was exiled due to lacking the exact power set as it tends to skip a generation but it's also based on who you are getting with to make a kid to begin with.. Quil being half human is a blessing and a curse Quils dad was an earth elemental that fully gave up his actual body to become a full planet to then take over other plants to eventually defeat thanos The time quil becomes king of his people his already left the guardians and his basically nova prime Thanos having learned that spartaxans where uneffected by the snap goes to war with then.. Thanos having to replace half his body with cybernetics due to the snap At some point the time stone is cracked leaving a large chunk of the universe to run slightly faster so for them their war lasted 2000 years but for everyone else outside that area it was 2 years Quil turns himself into a literal star to kill thanos and both of them die Quil leaving behind a daughter with his one remaining gun The stones end up being approached by other forces As for the time stone to heal it you would need itself so for the time being it remains frozen in time and space near where quil and thanos died You could later bring thanos back even madder then before as not only was he killed but his work was fully undone and quil would also come back from the same bleeding crack in time tho his stuck in a coma in space By the time his found his again a normal human His daughter isn't a pure blood either tho she mostly takes after her mother she to has enherited spartax power Her element is fire.. Normally she just has the strength and endurence she got from her mother but like her dad she sometimes finds a power within herself to command and fully control flames Its to the point where she can fully command anything flame based and even take it within herself for a time.. She could fully steal the human touches or ghost riders powers having full control over them to do as she pleased (she returned Johnny storms powers but greatly improved in stubility and strength and fully freed the spirit of vengeance) I think a cool thing with these ideas is you can swap the times around and some of the ideas still work.. Swap the event times around as you see fit

Great video. I feel like I must've missed part of it, because one of the cuts part was Bruce talking about how/who made Jason's coffin. So if you mentioned that part, I missed it. That is my favourite moment from the comic, because it shows both the care and love Bruce had for Jason, that he wanted him buried in a coffin made by the same man that did his parents, but it also shows his insecurity; 'The coffin maker not being capable, passing on the task to his son. Who the coffin maker says had surpassed him' to paraphrase and Bruce wonders if this was the case here. That's just a great moment of doubt that makes him more human. I'm a lover of the comic and animated feature. But I'm always of two minds about the entire event. On one hand, it might be one of my favorite Batman stories, on the other the simplified version of 'Death in the Family' that we see in both really under sells Jason's character. And I get why, it is a far simpler story and that is easier to get across to the audience and it fixes Shiva's issue in that storyline(where she claims under truth serum she has no children but turns out to have had Cass already, given she's about Jason's age). But that underselling hurts his characterization overall. Same with the change to the final confrontation between Batman, Jason, Joker. On one hand, we remove the Chemo explodes thing and keep the emotional focus between the characters here, rather than Jason suddenly not caring that Dick is dead(which tracks with latter depications of him sure, but him wanting any of the Batfamily dead undercuts his moral arguments and I dislike that) potentially. On the other hand, Jason's demand to choose between Jason and the Joker makes no sense here. Much like a pardoy video points out, Batman walking away is a answer. Jason kills the Joker then and there. Jason turning the gun on him is the story taking the easy way out to me. I didn't like the comic having Batman slit Jason's throat, don't get me wrong. BUt that doesn't mean the replacement is superior. You can essentially frame the comic it as Batman failing in this arc in the comic and a loss is sometimes more interesting. Where he proves his superiority in the movie to Jason. And that isn't as interesting. And in many ways, its a story of Batman vs a Victim. And when viewed like that it is also about the story of Revenge vs Justice.

Great stuff! As Black Mask's number 1 fanboy, that was really cool to hear extra stuff about him from Judd Winick himself. Ive learned a lot of stuff from this video, even if my left ear rings a little bit now 😁 I was okay with the Society's trio being replaced by this "Fearsome Hand of Four" OCs, I just kinda wish Deathstroke got a small cameo being the contact between that new merc crew and Roman Sionis. Slade and Sionis had good chemistry in the comics, so I was hoping for some of that... Mr Freeze being removed, I can get behind since they had to make room for Ra's al Ghul in the story (voiced by Jason Isaacs, who always nails his DC roles). I'm perfectly okay with the added Joker material, and in the long run it made the "Death in the Family" interactive movie possible, so, good call there. Riddler replacing Captain Boomerang made sense back then, since the general audience was way more familiar with Nygma... but it's funny to think that with Digger's popularity having exploded like that, if made today they would have totally kept him in ^^ When it comes to other medias referencing UTRH, I know that the show *Titans* has a bit of an iffy reputation, but I really enjoyed how, in season 3, they adapted the scene of Red Hood organizing a meeting with the heads of Gotham's crime families and intimidates them into working for him. Now we have that scene on pages, animated, and in live action \o/ What a time to be alive. Anyway, great video in general; considering how popular Red Hood is, I'm hoping this one blows up to "Green Lantern villain arc" level of views ^^ Between the Wild Dog video a couple months ago, and Under the Hood today, you're spoiling us DC fans.

I think the Under the Red Hood movie is the perfect adaptation, because all of the changes were to improve the story. It makes the story more streamlined and less complex, as well as less complex. Some stuff isn't needed, like Batman talking to other heroes and the whole Superboy Prime stuff.

Ian Peak's death is extra terrifying when thinking about how sinking into the earth killed him! Along with getting decompression sickness first and dying in nothing, he also was probably crushed by the pressures in the earth the deeper he went or hyperthermia as it got colder as he went down. And even if his faulty system did help him survive, he's gonna lose his mind and boil up at the earth's core... 0_0

That 2019 mini series was awful! I got the first issue but it seemed to be about a gay couple shopping for their first apartment together and talking in silly billy banter. As that seemed to be the best they had for their first issue to hook readers in I didn't bother buying anymore of it.

Deaths Head was designed to be a supporting character in Transformers and that's what he works as. Trying to make him the hero of his own solo series doesn't work. I never felt he fitted in the Marvel universe either. Shame he can't go back to Transformers where he belongs and works best.

I was barely into Batman as a kid and only as of last year actually learnt and watched some of the media. So, tell me why I have clear and distinct memory of Tim's Joker Jr brainwashing thing? Like I know I must have watched it somewhere along the lines but geez, it must have been a while ago?? I remember watching it on TV and is one out of two early memories of Batman that has stuck with me. (The other one being from the Batman animated series of the Joker singing that Batman Christmas carol that made me scared for some reason. Ironic how both memories link back to the Joker.)
