@hand.wound.horology Your absolutely correct, everyone is entitled to buy and wear what they want. It matter not to me. What I take exception to are the people that post, if you wear anything larger than a 36mm whatever, your being flashy and flexing. I have been weight training for years and a 36mm watch looks dainty on my wrist. The truth of the matter is it's not the 80s and 40mm and larger are the standard for mens watches. If someone enjoys wearing a unisex size, that their choice. Just like it's my choice to wear the more masculine size. If that triggers someone, then that would be a them problem. Wear the watches you enjoy in good health.

Thanks for watching. The only genuine con to me is the off centred crown. Seems like bad oversight. The manual wind and polished case is part of the charm of the reverso. I think it is important to outline pros and cons of watches so people who are interested in the watch can make an informed decision.

My wrist size is 16.5cm. When i was first in the market for a reverso. I was in the same situation as you. I finally decided to get the medium. Looking back i made the right decision. The large is a bit overwhelming for my smaller wrist

I have an 18cm wrist and spent ages debating and trying them on, the large looked ever so slightly better but I went with the medium as it felt more ‘correct’ - a bit like getting a hesalite Speedy instead of the sapphire crystal variant. It felt small the first few days and I fretted a bit that I’d got the wrong size, but now I’m glad I went medium. If you’re used to wearing a larger watch it may take a while to get used to but try them both and don’t be put off by the smaller size.

Wise words. Don't be afraid to wear the smaller variation of watches. More often then not, they look better than their larger counterparts as they look more balanced

I think you can definitely pull it off. The 36 suits all wrist sizes. My wife sometimes wears my dj36 and has a similar wrist size. Does not look out of place

I completely agree. The dj36 proportions are spot on. The dj41 was introduced to cater to the "big watch" trend a few years back. The upsize in case diameter makes the watch lose its original charm. It's a completely different watch
