But teh red block OHC swedish Volvo engines is much better than the Renault engines, but if you can get a car with the Renuult engine cheap and in good condition and free from rust it´s oakay. My self I own a 1966 Volvo P1800 ande i bought it 16 june 1975 and it´s a fantastic car.

One thing I can't help but notice is what sounds like bottom teeth Invisi-lines / other kind of see through braces/retainers. I used to need them and my voice did similar things on some sounds, so hearing it again bonked my memory.

Weer een toffe video! Ik had in het verleden een Peugeot 205 en 3x een Peugeot 306 en een 309 en was daaraan ook graag aan het sleutelen. Op het werk (waar ik zaterdags was) hadden ze een brug. Zelf bij een 306 1.9 de motor vervangen door een Turbo diesel nadat de motor overleden was.

I also noticed the Daf 55 in the background, I'd absolutely love to see more of that car in future videos, if possible?

Well, first off, I learned in this video that DAF made cars. Had to pause and go on a mini Wikipedia-dive there.

Neat job. Check all hoses carying wacuum and check walves. Check the distributor for wear ( lubricate) and the ignition advance vacuum unit (and centrifugal weights). Check the EGR-valves whit wacuum-hoses (if you dont allready has given them yoyr neighbours dog to play with). Open the float bowl on the carburator (Weber?) and remove rust flakes and debris.

Wat ziet de motor er mooi uit geïnstalleerd in de auto. Je ziet hem bijna niet meer terug in de motorruimte. Geen wonder want Volvo leverde destijds de 3 Serie ook met hun eigen Volvo 2 liter motor uit de 240 serie. Dat maakt het natuurlijk wel makkelijk werken aan deze motor. Om de koppeling te centreren gebruik ik altijd een speciale tool. Dat maakt het gemakkelijker. Geweldig om dit leuke project te volgen! 👍❤️

De laatste loodjes. Gelukkig blijft het al wat langer licht maar het koelt inderdaad wel snel af. Strakke witte Daf! Jij boft maar met zo'n vriend.

Leuk Daffie ook trouwens nooit eerder gezien. Vind echt mooi om te zien, een vrouw die zo veel kan doen met een auto. Heb zelf tot nu toe alleen een keer een distributieriem vervangen en een recent een versnellingsbak revisie. Jij haalt gewoon even een motor uit elkaar, prachtig. Denk dat jij ook niet kan wachten jou Volvo binnenkort te starten. Mijn complimenten voor je mooie content!

En ondertussen zie ik als er een berg tegenop om binnenkort de klepstoters van mijn Volvo te vervangen, ondanks dat ik die klus al eerder gedaan heb bij mijn vorige auto. Is dezelfde motor als jouw V70 😌

There used to be thousands of those little daf cars on the road and most of them were bleu or yellow unless my memory is playing tricks on me. I'm enjoying the volvo series, very entertaining thankyou.

The easiest way of aligning the clutch plate if you dont have the tool is to use a bolt and wrap it in masking tape or duct tape so the tip of the bolt is a snug fit into the fly wheel and and then wrap more of the bolt so the clutch friction plate is a snug fit over that

Bewonderingswaardig om een jonge vlotte meid als jij aan zo'n klassieke auto te zien werken en tegelijkertijd alles begrijpelijk uit te leggen en te filmen! Echt petje af!!! Bijzonder! Ik heb een 1.9 TZI BX Break uit 1993 en ik wou dat ik jouw energie had om daar ook zo aan te werken. Gelukkig is de BX is redelijk goede staat 🙂 Keep up!!
