Great question! I learned from working with friends and mainly just trying to fix my own cars - and breaking stuff along the way. All part of the learning experience I guess 🤭
Your voice on the commentary sounds so close to the mic. Maybe give it a distance or lower the mic sound. Great commentary you can talk all day and fix your car at the same time. Try doing the commentary live no added commentary. Reality tv show experience. Keep up the good uploads.
You would still need to wipe off the soap, so why even use it in the first place when you could use silicon for the same effect and the plus of maintenance… maybe you already slapped yourself too often that this conclusion doesn’t click with you ;)

Use foaming glass cleaner to lubricate your door trim to put it in next time. It’s a great trick for all things rubber.

Dishwasher soap for the rubber parts. Same as suspension bushes.
Silicon spray will keep them soft and in good condition, dish soap will dry them out over time.
