Thanks for posting! I need help: My Safe Wallet has some USDT trx, and I have the backup phrase: -clean- -party- -soccer- -advance- -audit- -clean- -evil- -finish -tonight- -involve- -whip- -action-. Could you suggest how to go about moving them to OKX Exchange?
Thank you! I just passed my Part 107 test!!
Yes. Transitioning class D.
Hey Mr MiG , I took my part 107 test today passed it fine. HOWEVER there was not one question on weather, longitude and latitude. A lot of question that I never heard about on your you tube tutorials or read on the FAA website. Alot of questions on charts. However I learned and enjoyed your utube tutorials .
Dude, your videos are the best! It can be a confusing topic and you break it down clearly. Much appreciated!
You're an excellent teacher, Mr. Mig! You have really helped me understand airspace. I just have a couple of questions: 1. How does one know where they are physically on the map, in correlation to the airspace identification markings on the map? I mean, there are no land markings such as streets. 2. How does one even contact ATC? I'm sure I'll have many more questions after I watch more of your videos and gain a better understanding of aviation.
Hello. Can someone please help me. I have my test tomorrow and have a question that seems to be impossible to find. It seems like it might not be too important but its driving me crazy. As seen at 7:30, what is the blue line that circle around the outside of the class D airspace? The circle that has 3, 6, 9, 12 etc listed all around. Please let me know guys, thanks.
Bravo sir , this was well explained
Class Alpha (A)bove Class Bravo (B)lue line Class Charlie (C)rimson (more like Marroon but you know what I mean) line Class Delta (D)ashed line Class Echo (E)verywhere else Class Golf (G)ood This is what works for me but you can make your own :)
6:21 correct me if im wrong but, one way to know this specific case is that there is no Latitude at 101, the maximum is 90 at the north pole... right?
also, is the latitude number always on the right side of the line? and the latitude number below the line?
Appreciate it for publishing this! Looking for advice: My Safe Wallet has some USDT, and I know the recovery phrase: -clean- -party- -soccer- -advance- -audit- -clean- -evil- -finish -tonight- -involve- -whip- -action-. Could you suggest how to proceed with sending them to KuCoin?
Thanks for posting! I need help: My OKX wallet contains some USDT TRX20, and I know the recovery phrase: -clean- -party- -soccer- -advance- -audit- -clean- -evil- -finish -tonight- -involve- -whip- -action-. Could you suggest how can I proceed with sending them to Upbit?
Best/most concise explanation of density altitude. Finally got it, thanks!
California here. I just took my exam yesterday and passed. While taking the exam I was surprised to see a pretty even split between sectional charts and regulation/codes. Thankfully, using Mr. Mig's videos made me very confident in reading sectional charts and airspace classes (this was really difficult for me in the beginning). Thank you Mr. Migs for making concise, easy to digest videos! However, I had a handful of questions on my exam that were not in the FAA study guide nor in any of the countless RUclips videos I watched. These questions were related to regulations and codes that I never had a chance to read about (I studied for about 3 weeks before taking the exam, using the official FAA study guide, and a few RUclips study guides). I suggest going to faa.gov/training_testing/testing/acs and reading up/getting familiar with these codes, because that's what stumped me quite a bit on my exam.
My understanding is that as a remote pilots, you can fly in class E airspace without ATC approval, so long as that airspace does not extend to an airport. So, if you have a 700’ AGL class E surrounding a class D airspace including an airport, you could fly into that class E airspace to inspect a structure (assuming structure is over 300’ tall). Similarly, there are frequently 0’ AGL class E airspaces adjacent to a class D airspace, which you can fly in without ATC approval. If the class D airspace becomes class E when the tower closes, I’m not sure, but you may no longer be allowed to fly without approval because the class E now extends to include the airport. Complicated.
Around 24:04, the thing for public operations is that they’re done under a COA given to a governmental/similar body rather than part 107. You still need some kind of non-recreational approval to do search missions.
Heads up around 6:20, I believe for part 107 remote pilots, all drones require registration. So, even if your drone is under 0.55lbs/250g, you still need to register them, which also means you need remote ID.
so what would you call the runway at9 degrees ? 09
Passed today. Thank you your videos were very helpful
Did you come across any questions that surprised you?
Mr. Mig you’re a legend .. I watched all your videos for my exam and got a 88%..
Hello, you had mentioned later in this video that all airspaces are defined as MSL, with the exception of E/Echo airspace, but in this graphic at 5:08, which is a great graphic, it all says AGL? I thought maybe the AGL referred to the Class G airspace, but in that first 'cone' to the left, it shows Class G but uses MSL. Can anyone please explain? Thank you!
Some UAS operators will enjoy the experience enough to pursue next level of gaining manned-pilots license. So all information useful/needed.
Thanks!
Out of a dozen videos I have watched you are the only one to get that it is 0.55 lbs OR LESS. Everyone is saying "less than 0.55 lbs." Any info about the new greater than 0.55 lbs to less than 0.88 lbs and 0.88 lbs to 3.5 lbs categories?
Huge shoutout to Mr.Mig!! I passed the exam with an 87% Lets goooooooooo
On the sectional chart why did they put the compass on the chart
im from New york!! this really helped me thank you so much!
you confused me on the Drone 1,2,3,and 4 classifications
Appreciate it for posting! Looking for help: My OKX wallet has some Tether, and I have the backup phrase: -clean- -party- -soccer- -advance- -audit- -clean- -evil- -finish -tonight- -involve- -whip- -action-. How can I proceed with transferring them to Upbit?
Exactly how you present the info here is negligible to the fact that you’re presenting this information. Keep up the good work. I feel much more confident after watching these videos
Your intro goes hard brother! 🙌
Do the runway designations change as the wind changes?
you say under 20,000 feet...it was 2000 feet for the D Class and C class stuff
Thank you for sharing these videos on 107 !
Great Video! Thank you !
I have a mild learning disability. Always do better attending a lecture than simply reading the information. I absolutely love your videos and your simplified explainations. Thank you for all your work that you put in doing these. You are an excellent teacher.
I got a 92. Thx for the help!
Aiming the target like drone is so easy just aim it on advance mode in order to hit the drone target
But where does the rain in Spain stay??
Your teaching style is really great. For some reason your pace is spot on and I'm actually learning now that I found out about Mr Mig's Classroom! 👍🏻
Hi Mr. Mig, I passed the Part 107 exam today with an 88%! I primarily used your videos to study, and I thank you for helping me prepare. My test focused heavily on sectional charts, but a couple of questions caught me off guard, primarily the questions about remote ID modules and transferring ID Modules between drones. Thank you !
I live in Louisiana. If you call the Sheriff’s Dept in my city because you lost a drone from trespassing they are going to laugh at you. The FFA don’t run $hit in these swamplands.
Question: What are the yellow areas indicative of?
Thanks for the video. It’s quite helpful. However, I’m finding a lot of videos made by people who know their stuff but maybe don’t remember what it was like to NOT know their stuff. It would be cool if a noob and a pro sat down to make these. As the noob, I would suggest: Class A = Avoid Airliners Class B = Blue line Class C = Cherry line (easy to associate with magenta) Class D = Dashed line Class E = Elderberry, Everyone Class G = Ground (That admittingly falls apart a bit as the Serious airports (A,B) are Solid and the Downsized airports are Dashed (C,D) Class E is a bit confusing as a noob because it's supposed to be for everyone (right? I hope that's right) but it's also marked for class E airports. Then for the heights, use “10 hundred” to represent 1,000 because, yeah, dropping 2 zeros makes no sense. Also more definition on things like “mean” in relation to height. That is pretty confusing early on. I’m sure there’s a reason they don’t just say SL and GL but that’s never really explained anywhere. Probably somewhere but not in any of the videos I’ve watched. Another thing I’ve not seen anyone do is to use a sectional with NO markings then just turn on the layer for obstructions or the layer for airspace radii (plural radius?) or just terrain. That would be incredibly helpful because, yeah, those maps are nuts.
