This is beautiful. I love a flat twist hair style. Especially when your hair is parted in 2 horizontally and the top half is flat twisted down, with the bottom half of your hair being out. Real elegant style.

I’ve been flat twisting my hair since I was in elementary school, lol. Way, way, way before it became a popular thing to do with your hair. I used to get people that used to ask me about it all the time too.
Same. I used TUCKING combs to hold the back in place. Its still a primary go-to.

I also think it depends on your environment. I live in NV. The humidity is currently 11% so using humectants is a no go for me.
