We managed to get a lot done this week, including finishing off a lot of small jobs. The neighbour also did some emergency dentistry on her partner!

The welding is finished, the deck has been rec=built and is now re-fitted to the tractor.

It's been a busy week here; the bathroom has two tiled walls, the bedroom is partly-painted and the gas engineer has started the boiler installation.

I've made all the repair patches and welded them in. The deck is almost ready to have all the spindles re-fitted.

It's time to start tiling the bathroom. Even with the best planning, there is sometimes an awkward cut to make, and this is by far the most difficult one I've ever done!

A customer asked if I would take a look at their ride-on and see why it wouldn't start. Well, it's more than just not starting, as it hasn't run for a few years and needs a lot of work to get it re-commissioned again. I thought it would take a day or so but as I started investigating, it is a much larger project than I thought, but I'm sure I can bring this old thing back to life!

I was struggling to get the drain installed but along the way I found that you are never too old to learn something! I also had a small disaster but was able to resolve it without too much delay.
