Maybe directors think men are more tender? Just kidding! But seriously, it would be nice to mix things up a bit - let’s get some ladies on the menu! On a real note now... in this day and age that would be considered as promoting violence towards women... and no man wants to be seen that way... but women still die in these movies just not in gory ways like you mentioned. In Alien Romulus Kay is somewhat eaten.. and in a longer cut I understand that is actually shown... just not in the theatrical release version.

The movie doesn't seem that bad but it just doesn't hold the same aura and effect as the original which is why I think it bombed.

@beezzarro I watched only for this kill count. Since the video was poorly received, I did not bother watching further, so I have basically 0 idea of how they speak.
I knew Garland was a brilliant director, but not that he also could do action as convincingly as this. Truly aweinspiring.. and for anyone claiming it is unrealistic... ANY nation can end up in civil war, if the disagreements and antagonisms are driven far enough.. and they seem to be going that way in many nations previously believed was stable. And the reason? Massimmigration for one thing.. Allow in enough enemies of the status quo (i.e. muslims) you end up in Hell.
I don't think mass migration is the only reason. There are other root causes. But I don't want to discuss politics here on the channel, especially since I am not directly involved as I am not an American so my knowledge is only from the media which distorts realyty based on their own political views. 🍻

Only one death angels dies from drowning due to that being their weakness why could’ve the military with helicopters armed just shoot the heads at those things rather than armor bc it’s bulletproof
Even the heads are bulletproof. Only when they open up do they become vulnerable. Helicopters (that would have a much bigger weapon caliber and perhaps could injure them) can't shoot them if they are inside buildings and underground. Yeah, only one drowns.. I did not expect to see more of them dying since at this point, people would not know how to engage with them.
