Even years later, my love for this ship never faded, despite the clear less content of it throughout the years🥹❤ Their dynamic is so fun and sweet and their relationship in the main series is open to many new developments,, the sides may not be on the best terms with each other(judging from the 5 years episode)now but the opportunities for the development of their characters and their relationships with one another is still very well there, and Logan and Patton is one where the opportunities shine a lot too. I would say that I can’t wait to see that, but truth is I don’t mind waiting haha Oh man my love for this ship is still really there even though there’s more popular ships with Logan or Patton in the fandom now🥹🥹🥹 maybe I just love Sun and moon dynamics too much😭

Oscar isn’t the only one who people never listen to him, The Spirit of the Staff of Creation told Team RWBY not to fall after he made the dimension gateway to Vacou (which is a completely idiotic plan since Team RWBY will be put the refugees of Atlas and Mantle in a desert wasteland with little resources, harsh conditions, a dangerous number of Grimm and a Kingdom that has a grudge against them. Instead of somewhere safer like say Vale, Minstral or Menagerie). And what did Team RWBY do when they fought Salem, they fell because Weiss didn’t even use her Semblance to save Yang from falling. In fact, the Spirit himself thought that the Vacou Plan was idiotic and Team RWBY didn’t think this thing through. I’m beginning to see why Salem is always winning.

I just love that volume 6 is just "Shall I?" "May I?" Then calming Oscar down to save him. Like it's crazy how caring this man is and how much he gets bullied by everyone

I think the reason this misunderstanding happened is because we really only see Oscar's anxieties about it. It's mostly him worrying about not being himself anymore which makes people think it's Ozpin overtaking him. If you think about it, Ozpin himself isn't that caught up by it because he's been through it before. He's not afraid of something he's undergone dozens of times AND he's already died. He probably welcomes the change that's happening.

Honestly he's such a silly sophisticated sweetheart and the biggest equality advocator I love this man he's a real one ☝️

I’ve seen majority of people thinking Oscar will fade away and Ozpin takes over and get mad at him for that (or do people not really think this anymore?), but I feel like it’ll be the other way around, or reverse? I feel like the merge is more of a passing down from the Oz collective, memories, fighting capabilities, knowledge, but it will still be Oscar in a sense and maybe it’s Ozpin that fades away (and I’ll be devastated if that happens but he did already die 😭)

The fusion between these two should be called "Survival"

The whole idea that huntsmen exist only to fight ozpins war is so dumb. They exist because grim are a constant threat that need to be dealt with. Salem or not, huntsmen would still have to exist. He's not raising children to fight a war, he's teaching them to defend their homes and towns and less defended villages
