Why run rim brakes? Any brake works fine once or twice. But continuously stopping at high speed (for a bicycle) several times will cause brake fade. Having regen and the incredibly not aerodynamics of this bike will probably do enough to slow you down though. It's like 60s muscle cars with drum brakes. They work fine in day to day driving. But go to the track and do a bunch of runs and you will experience brake fade.

Unless it's a LiM battery, the mileage probably sucks
