I absolutely adore your analysis. I love his false bankai, but his true bankai was awesome. I'm glad that the studio was able to capture his abilty. It makes sense that he doesn't know how to use bankai much because he just learned it.

I disagree with you saying uryu only won because of home field advantage when he didn’t use his schrift or even his full vol stern dig till the very last attack.

Honestly he had his first bankai for two years, and his complete one for less than a week. Similar to rukia, despite its power both bankai’s are unrefined. Give both Renji & Rukia the full 10 years and their gonna be way more monstrous 🔥🔥

this just reassured me over all what an angel Rukia is 😍😂 jk. Love Orihime too tbh. If anything we get why her and Ichigo end up together. They´re just humans getting themselves in trouble pertaining a world that was unknown to them. Thing is Ichigo has the necessary power to punch his way out of anything, whilst Orhime, doesn't. At least up until this point. Hence one of the many reasons I´m hyped about the anime.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a bit more to his Bankai. Given that the snake portion can change size, it goes without saying that his Baboon arm can possibly do it too. The Gerard fight is a good opportunity to show us more, imagine him summoning a big arm and punching him with it or grabbing an entire building and tossing it at him.

Cour 3 really escalated the war and Renji sure got a great showing even if he did not get a win. He's still a great Shinigami especially since he's willing to bet into battle for those he cares for. Given his origins it makes sense.

Such a trash character. How tf can you like someone who's so useless that they heal the enemies more than their own allies??? She contributes absolutely NOTHING to the group, and more times than not her presence on the battle field gets all of her friends hurt trying to save her dumbass. She would literally be more likeable if she was a backline support like Unohana was. Stay off the battlefield, show up after the battle ends to do her job, and NOT HEAL THE ENEMY! I stg, the ONLY reason you mfs like about Orihime is because she has a large bust 🤦🏿‍♂️ a bunch of degenerate mfs, she literally has the MOST shallow character in the entire series. Given an OP ability that mostly goes to waste because of her retarded personality trait of "I don't wanna fight, but I want to be on the battlefield and jepordize my friends lives!" Her main qualities are kindness and Kurosaki-kun. That it! You can't say anything otherwise to convince me. She's more of a detriment than an asset. Again, who tf would want a healer on their team that heals the enemy??

This is why we need an anime remake. The studio really messed upmost of the early sections of Bleach, especially Orihimes characterization.

Thanks. As a ND woman, it was hard to explain to people that pacifism is not passivity. I think it becomes clearer that Orihime is meant to be the Heart of Bleach when you see the Pilot chapter, and how her fathers tears match those of Ulquiorra's markings and that she's so strong, she touches even the most skilled at performing stoic, even if their entire being encompassed that emotional stoicism.

I had to break the 333 Likes because a video dedicated to Orihime being a strong woman character? heck yea! Almost teared up too. Orihime is a beautifully written character that I has a special place in my heart. I grew up watching her unwavering spirit and kindness throughout the series. Her decisions to heal and defend her enemies are certainly perplexing for most to watch. (Possible why there are many who dislike Orihime, bc they cannot comprehend her actions. Allowing herself to be beaten around) This is a characteristic that is barely used for characters in anime/manga (as far as the ones I've watched) Its human to hate our enemy and yet Kubo wrote a character who is so kind and compassionate, and human beyond all things. Orihime is a wonderful character through and through. I think she's the kind of woman I still aspire to be, Kind yet strong in spirit.

I love the thumbnail, I love Rukia and Orihime girl friendship. Rukia who is willing to support Orihime and Orihime who admires Rukia, beautiful women being friends ❤ I hate the anime that tried to turn it a bit toxic. Mind you its natural for Orihime to feel insecure, shes young and in love but Kubo masterfully was able to bind them together into a healthy friendship. The anime as we know pushed Rukia and Ichigo together more then it was necessary and making Orihime look like the side chick, it was sad and kind of toxic how much the anime tried to make her look and behave stupid when she never was, she is quirky and smart. I lobe her so much, she is a strong character no matter what anyone says.

Again, great job pointing out how despite Orihime's insecurities, the things she admired in Rukia, she had done for Ichigo as well before. Yes, as foes and obstacles became harder to face, she felt more and more powerless to contribute the way she wished, but not many people seem to remember her relevance in helping Ichigo make up his mind before (Probably cause the anime butchered that scene.) People just take the insecurity thing at face value. Not to mention Ichigo himself went through a whole emotional rollercoaster that arc (again parallels with Orihime) because not long after Rukia encouraged him, he was down again after facing another defeat iirc.

Exactly, not many people seem to get that Ulquiorra had basically the same issue with Orihime that he had with Ichigo. The difference is that with Ichigo the philosophical conflict was realized through battle, while with Orihime it was realized through their verbal interactions and clashes. There is a lot of parallelism between Ichigo and Orihime as you said, they embody the same values, they both are able to show kindness and will help regardless of the race/nature of the one in need be it friend or foe. But Ichigo does it via physical actions like fighting to protect, while Orihime does it through healing, shielding and even befriending.

I'm very glad to see people defending Orihime. Throughout my watching of the anime, I'd always see a wave of negativity thrown towards her because she wasn't a flashy fighter like Rukia or Yoruichi, that all she did was scream "Kurosaki-kun" and so on. Not that these two are bad characters, far from it, but Orihime is extremely badass in her own way. She's literally "kill them with kindness" and this was shown perfectly when she healed Lolly and Melony from certain death in the Arrancar arc and those two were TERRIFIED of her even if each one possessed more firepower then her.
