Is the jointer power head a three prong or two

Great video. Thinking about buying a six inch augur for fence posts. Is an eight inch really that much better? I will be setting 4 by 4's for a wood fence.

Hi! Thanks for sharing! I’ll use your design to build wrap around planter boxes for my porch pillars. I’ve used 5/8” plywood to make cleats to hang heavy things like solid wood headboards, large mirrors etc.

Now that you have had the unit for a year, do you still like it and has it been trouble free? I have two Jet AFS-1000b's in my 420 sq ft (9' ceiling) shop that have now both failed (admittedly after good use, the first failed at 15 years and the second just recently at 19 years of hobbyist use - maybe 500 hours/yr). The new Jet 1000c units won't easily go in the same space, so I am looking at the WEN 1270 as a replacement, and I might only go with one as a single Jet did fine in cleaning the air at medium speed.

Very nice job. One trick I learned from Rob Cosman is to put CA glue on the exposed MDF. Apply liberally and brush it in. No need for accelerator. It really hardens the bare MDF.

Thanks for the review. I just picked up an EGO, same basic machine. It's too powerful for me, it really rips you around, even with the smallest battery, I thought the anti-kickback would work better. I have very rocky soil (hardpan). I don't recommend getting one of these, my thigh still hurts from being smacked!

What a beautiful board. It's a real chess player's board - no distractions, simple (and you oriented it correctly, “light is right”). I wouldn't feel too bad about the engraving not standing out, I think it’s better than something in light letters “screaming” during a game. For a display board you can go crazy, but if your intention is to have this board actually used you hit the sweet spot.

Just thought of something else. I always watch my material's reference edge when ripping... to make sure it's not drifting away from the fence. If your material thickness lands in one of those t-slots, you won't be able to see if it's tight against the fence.

Looks like a good upgrade to the very thin aluminum stock faces. But you had my OCD on overdrive with all that dust in the tube. BLOW that OUT! Wouldn't want any to get between the fence bar and your new t-track face!

The idiot who designed the base needs replacing! You are limited to small-diameter bits. I need it for a 1-inch round-over. The bit is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

I already have a fancy high end Triton for off the table, but its way too cumbersome to put on and off my router table; so Im looking at a cheaper one I can permanently mount up. I saw you make a few comments about the plunge action being crap; and thats a non isssue for the use case for me due to it being mounted in a router lift. Cheers.

6/6/24 this is the best wishing well with directions and blueprints. Your directions were excellent precise it to the point and understanding. I made a couple of modifications and streamlining the roof and side posts for the crank. Used the block stop at a 45 to take one inch off the roof board corners, came out excellent with still a 3-in overhang. Wife inspected and loved.Thank you very much Paul 👍

Hi thanks very much for your video on Jessem Router Lift Install. Could you please tell me what diameter and cutting length pattern bit you used when using your template to cut the final pocket. It looks like 3/4 diameter 1/2" cutting length but wasn't sure. It also looks like you are using 1/2" mdf for your template? I have been having some difficulty after creating my template cutting the final pocket. Thanks.

hi, just saw this video on upgrading delta 36-725 T2 table saw fence with t-track. I have the same table saw. I would love to upgrade with t-track but cannot find a t-track to work with the delta fence. Maybe I am just not looking in the right places. Please if you know where I can get the same t-track you installed I would greatly appreciate it. Taylor tools does not have it.

I bought my Long mill over 2 years ago and that my friend is what I did and exactly how I did it for the fence, except I don't want T-Tracks. Great job

What about the dust from the saw falling onto the cabinet?

I really enjoy your videos. I see that you have Wen products. Do you recommend the track saw? Right now ,I put the plywood on the floor on top of foam insulation and use the Kreg rip cut guide with the circular saw. It works but the cut is never exact.

If you’ve got rocks a power auger is not your friend for post holes. There isn’t a hand auger on the market that would be better in this situation.

Hi - I like the built and, love the measuring tape with the track for the stops. I'm working on configuring a one-car garage shop. Measure twice cut once lol I use mechanical pencils when I'm doing trim carpentry but yeah a lot of people need to learn this or put the tools down if they are not willing to do it right they shouldn't be doing it

IF you open one of your gable vents & put a fan in the other, the air will simply enter one & shoot straight across your GH & exit the other leaving the lower part of your GH hot. LOW enter HIGH exit. !

Nice touch with the walnut boundary. I like the threaded inserts that you used to attach the lift to the particle board. I suspect you acquired those separately, and they don't come with the lift?

As a cabinetmaker I did this all the time.

With the center being 28 inches and wood not angled is there enough room for the saw to swing all the way to 60 degrees. I have a dewalt 779, which appears to be similar to what you have on your table.

That takes off a heavy hair; about 1/32” If you want to take off a light hair, touch the stock against the teeth of the blade; you remove about 1/64”

I use a disc sander. Just touch it on the turning disc until it fits.

Wow nice.that happened to me once and I try trimming the piece and I cut it to short,so I had to cut a new piece. Thanks for the tip.
