I love how organised but still homely and cozy you made it. I really want to do something to my sowing space and this is great for inspiration. My sowing space has not had many changes done to it since it was my studying spot when I studied more than two years ago and it still feels very crammed. I think properly organising will make me use it more and feel more comfortable when sowing.
I have a fabric I’ve been holding on to for many years to someday make a corset. I think I just have to do it ❤

Ugh loveee the bustier dress but I get so intimidated by anything with cups! I have an extremely narrow rib cage but a larger bust so I feel like it just complicates things 😩
I’m with ya, it’s a tough one but I think it’s just one of those styles that you have to try and fail at a couple of times in order to get right. I would suggest not doing what I did and making just the top portion first in a muslin or super cheap fabric to test out the fit. That’s what I plan on doing on my next go ‘round haha. Wishing you lots of luck, and mostly lots of bravery to just go for it even when it’s scary because it’s fun 😊❤️
@@CaitMakes it's frustrating because it seems like a lot of sewing patterns don't account for people with a large bust + smaller body. Like they'll only do bigger cups in the bigger sizes. I never thought to do a test run using cheap fabric though - that's actually such a good idea! Thank you so much for the words of encouragement!! <3

Maybe you could trace your markings on the pattern with a pen or a marker and then you'd be able to iron it? Thermal printed paper fades over time as well!
This is the second time I’ve seen someone talk about this exact printer specifically for pdf sewing patterns! Do you know if it’s for US letter (8.5”x11”) or A4 paper? I recently learned that there’s a difference and it actually makes a difference what paper you print with!!
I tested it out with both US and A4 and as long as I selected the corresponding printer settings and made sure it was printing at 100% the sizing was consistent for both. I went with US because that’s what I’m used to so I would guarantee that one, but as far as I could tell it worked well for both options. Hope that helps 😊❤️

I had 2 of these panels that matched in a blue background. I was going to make pillows out of them but I think when I purged stuff I donated them. 🤦♀😂 Maybe someone bought them at the thrift and made something like this with them. Great idea.
