I did not see a good network of roads like in Owerri despite most of them not being well maintained. Not many cities in that country are as planned as Owerri. A foreign firm called Fingerhuth designed Owerri as a twin city in the seventies under governor Ndubuisi Kanu, the first ever governor of Imo State. Sorry, your analysis had a tone of bias, especially as you picked up specific flaws of Owerri like the condition of the two secondary schools while you avoided same about Abeokuta. You passed your judgment already in your comments when you should have been neutral if you wanted others to judge. FAIL.

I like your report for showing the other side of Uyo. Pls, try to do inside roads in Uyo. All these so-called governments don't care to develop Uyo not to mention other towns or cities in Akwa Ibom.

I choose Asaba over Jos any day. Though Jos used to be the home of entertainment in Nigeria before the year 2000. the likes of P-Square, M.I, Eedris, and many others started out in Jos before moving to Lagos state. The insecurity in Jos, mostly caused by religious intolerance, has made Jos to become a shadow of itself. I will not forget year 2002 when my Uncle lost his mansion and cars due to religious conflict between Christians and Muslims in Jos. His properties were burnt down by irate Muslim faithfuls. He had to relocate to Awka in Anambra state (his home state) to start life all over again. The memories of that unfortunate event still lingers in my head any time that Jos is made mentioned of, cos I was staying with my uncle at d time. As for Asaba, the city is relatively calm and peaceful.

Enugu city is 269km2 and Ibadan city is around 1100km2. It’s the local governments that are 3000+km2 Please, correct that!

In former crossriver state and only became a state capital in 1987. Kaduna host the military HQtrs of Nigeria, a refinery even when it dosent produce a drop of oil. And your condescending statement about building a church instead of a school? As if the govt cant do both at the same time. The state runs thousands of primary and secondary schools in addition to several tertiary institutions including universities and polytechnic. You failed to see the hundred of mosques built in Kaduna and other Northern states with government funds,but focus on the one church that the Akwa ibom state has contributed to building, mind you govt. Only supported the. Church building, some of the funding was from the private citizens of the state. Your comparison is misguided, Uyo should be compared to cities that came to limelight around the same time not with Kaduna or cities like Kaduna that has been enjoying govt. Funding and infrastructure since colonial years But even then Uyo stands shoulders ahead of cities like Kaduna and your comparison is proof.

How can u say Enugu population is less than 1 million, where did you get that figure from? Enugu has a population of almost 5 million, if not more, only Nsukka axis has more than 1 millions people leaving there, besides Enugu population is made up of people from different States in Nigeria, especially North, middle belt, and south south and other parts of the south east. There isn't only 3 Ambulances at ESUT teaching hospital, that hospital is one of the best government owned hospital in Nigeria.

I totally agree on the bad roads and the way drivers drive like mad people but your other analysis about it being highly insecure is wrong citing soldiers, there are no soldiers in city centers stop lying, only outskirts villages. Secondly Owerri is well planned, just that Uzodinjo and Rochas government are devil’s incarnate. The roads are very bad but generally he city is well planned. your comments about Nigeria and Abuja is full of hate and bias, as there's no objectivity in your comparison between the two African cities. You highlighted many beautiful places and infrastructural developments in Luanda but refused to do same in abuja, instead you only focused on its' negative aspects. Let me remind you that no city in this world that is 100% perfect, including New York city and Dubai, they also have their own negative sides.
