Brazzaville, Congo vs Kinshasa, DR Congo #kinshasa #brazzaville #africancity #lingala #swahili
Welcome to another episode. This time, it is in the land of Lingala. The land of music. Arguably, Africa's authentic music is best exemplified on the banks of the Congo River. Pays des sapeurs, or land of the dandies. You can hardly tell the difference between these two, except you speak French. The colonial language, which is the official language of both countries, possesses a subtle, or dialectal, variant that is often difficult to identify immediately.
With less poverty, Brazzaville is cleaner than Kinshasa, which is overpopulated and has a vast wealth gap. It has one of the lowest GDP per capita for a country with mineral resources valued at over $20 trillion. Brazza and Kinshasa are ...

Every Black Country Is Poor vs No White Country Is Poor. Why? #africa #europe #lagos #nairobi #accra

In this video, we look into the data and compare why black-majority countries are underdeveloped and poor, whilst every white country is seemingly developed. Nothing is off the table; no topic is too sacred; everything can be discussed and questioned. If you think we are wrong, why not challenge us in the comment section, and we will be happy to engage. Thanks for watching.

    The lack of a bridge is an issue of economic sovereignty in terms of logistics. A bridge right now would cause an economic depression in DRC port cities like Boma, Matadi and Muanda since boats could just go to Point Noire's deep water port and transport freight to Brazzaville then Kinshasa. There is a need for better port infrastructure with the Banana Deep water port project near Muanda and then they need to build better roads and trains to and from Kinshasa.

    • @alan.imangue
      @alan.imangue 6 дней назад

      @@BantuCityDiaries This isn’t coming from me. It’s the actual reason. Until the proper infrastructure is built there will be no bridge. Here is a quote from the proposed bridges page on Wikipedia “The project stalled in 2005 when DRC presidential chief of staff Léonard She Okitundu expressed that the project would adversely affect economic activity in its port towns of Boma and Matadi, which are key contributors to its economy. The DRC refused to endorse the bridge project without a commitment by the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) to finance a deepwater port in Banana, its only city on the Atlantic coast.”

      @BantuCityDiaries 10 дней назад

      @Jearrow And Gabon looks like dustbins in Albania, Bosnia, Belarus, and the other white nations you may have or not implied. Lucky for me, I have been to Gabon and a few of those white countries you considered poor based on GDP per capita. From Mont Bouet to Cocotier or Boulevard Triomphal to Dragon in Libreville, Gabon, they all look like the rest of sub-Saharan Africa-dirty streets, poverty-ridden, and highly underdeveloped. Even when we stretch our view from Bitam, Gabon, to Port Gentil, Gabon, the story remains the same-a country struggling with extreme poverty. In contrast, Bosnia, Albania, and Belarus boast of significant infrastructural developments, technological innovations, manufacturing power, and centuries of consistent development. It's a stark reality that Belarus, for instance, is more developed than the entire sub-Saharan Africa combined, and it outproduces it on average, too. Gabon can't even make a toothpick, let alone put it together in the same league as Belarus, Bosnia, and Albania. You failed woefully in your attempt to counter my argument in that video. This is what happens when you let your feelings override your capacity to maintain objectivity.

      @@neilbhatt7771 Some countries, including both Belarus and Gabon, do not regularly report data due to conflict, lack of statistical capacity, or censorship. So, I'll go with two other countries, Botswana and Bulgaria, respectively African and european nations. Botswana stands as a developing countries with a HDI (human development index) around 0.720 while Bulgaria is also considered developing but with a pretty much higher score, 0.798. However the Human development index only consider three components, which are life expectancy, expected years of schooling, and gross national income. As a result, the competitiveness index, comprising Infrastructure, Governance, Economy and Business, is also important to consider. According to the International Institute for Management Development report, Botswana stands as the 55th most competitive country in the world, in comparison to Bulgaria, at the 58th position. The country holds a higher infrastructure index, Government and Business efficiency, despite having a lower economic performance. That being said, Botswana is less corrupt than Bulgaria, according to the corruption perception index, and pretty much more democratic. The country also holds a higher freedom index, and environment performance. However thare are still many challenges that Botswana face in comparison to that country : inequalities remain strong leading up to high poverty rate ( ~ 16%) , and also multiple Health problems that Botswana needs to focus on.

    This is the narrative and ideation being peddled to black people/nations to keep them behind. They put in all the traps to ensnare the black nations and then turn around to mock them. I do not agree.

    Saying Windhoek was developed by the whites that’s totally wrong. Find yourself a picture of Windhoek before 1990 when the white control it and compare it to now, 90% of the development in Windhoek was developed by the black government after 1990 which was our independence?

    Just to clarify Angola is independent since1975 and not 1974 as mentioned, plus we do have a new big international airport in which we hoping to operate November or December, besides that it was a great video brother
