Amun Siwa
Добавлен 18 фев 2015
The Egyptian god Amun was depicted with ram horns. The ram was revered in ancient Egypt in matters of fertility and war.
Rams were considered a symbol of virility due to their rutting behavior. The horns of Amun may have also represented the East and West of the Earth, and one of the titles of Amun was "the two-horned." Alexander was depicted with the horns of Amun as a result of his conquest of ancient Egypt in 332 BC, where the priesthood received him as the son of the god Amun, who was identified by the ancient Greeks with Zeus, the King of the Gods.

Boats against the current - To take on time and fate (The Great Gatsby)
Interesting to note in this scene that Tom shows a bit of his distaste and frustration at the way Michael was running the family to Frankie.
At least he will die knowing that his family will be taken care of
Afghanistan , they left billions of dollars in weapons behind when pulled out .
Man you want to talk about a stone cold soldier. Frank was the real deal. Most men would never have the balls to do that what he did. I don’t support criminality but there is an honor code. He went out the way he lived…like a real gangster
Increible escena. Brutal
The finality of way Tom tosses the cigar to shake Frankie's hand to seal the deal
Frank Pentangeli!
So is Tom basically telling Frankie they'll take care of his family? Or will they desert the family and tell them to go on welfare like they do today?
As far as I'm concerned. Hollywood could have closed up shop after Godfather part 2. Probably should have.
I never understood when he says the family used to be stronger like the Roman Empire. Isn't the family at its most powerful and influential at this point in the story?
No not at all. They took some big losses with certain death and the family left New York for Las Vegas to make their business legitimate. They left their territory and all the mafia bosses back in New York were beginning to chip away.
@@Ambivert_15 they killed all the bosses in 1 and wiped out the big players at the end of 2. I guess Michael didn't have the political connections like his father
I wonder how this would've played out...if Actor Richard Castellano had returned as Clemenza for GF 2...and, assuming Clemenza was the one who ratted out Mike, how this scene would've played out between Tom Hagen and Clemenza.
y don't they make more movies like after he's gone like infighting with his generals rite til the last one standing
Enzo was a legend
The last scene of tom hagen .
Love the birds.
See ya
Frankie could have destroyed the Corleones. He didn't because of honor. He took the imprisonment like a man and then accepted to die just for his family to be taken care of. When you have en enemy like that and he dies, you gotta respect and remember him as he was the most precious of your friends.
3:41 "Addio" Used in parting to say "Goodbye Forever"...
Great video but ptolomy was not the victor actually selucos was victor and died after ptolomy other than that great video
Don’t get me wrong, Frank Pentangelli was a great character but I really think this would have meant more if they were able to go through with their original plans of having this character be Clemenza.
Forget about it
"He didn't even want to go out for dinner. He just wanted to go straight home." Vincenzo Pentangelli knew that Frankie was going to die for this. He didn't want to celebrate his brother's death.
Always thought he said Frankie Five Fingers
2300 yıl süren pembe dizi😊

RAZOR MARIHUANA CHAIR TABLE CIGAR
This was brilliantly acted and written. When Frankie says, 'I get a lot of good stuff to read in here.', Tom's body language says, 'Damn...I got to dislodge any notion he may have that life is good in protective custody.' So then Tom changes tack. Away from his interest in reading history books and towards the subtle deal. When Frankie says, 'yeah but the little guys all got knocked off and their estates went to the Emperor....unless, they killed themselves and then their families were taken care of.' At that point Frankie came up with the solution without Tom actually having to say it. Tom cleverly just poked him subtly in the direction he wanted him to go. A very clever lawyer. Tom had to be very careful as he wasn't sure whether Frankie was wearing a wire. Tom wanted it to be Frankie's idea based on what he knew about Frankie -- his love for Roman history. Shaking hands at the end was his way of saying, 'Your family will be taken care of...kill yourself and all will be well.' Same deal Hitler gave to Rommel.
Best scene in the trilogy. It brings some much needed humanity back to the very depressing end of the film.
3:17 don't worry about anything frank it says everything ❤
Tom didn’t even have too tell him what too do Frankie said it himself
"It was...once." Tom contrasted the compassion and integrity of Vito versus the cold and calculated ruthlessness of the Don's youngest son Michael. Yes, Michael found a way to get back on top undisputed...but at the cost of both his figurative and literal family. Saddest scene in the film IMHO.

Who here after diddy
i am 41 years old...been watching these movies ever since i was 13....and to this day, i'm still finding hidden details on these movies.....it's a fkn masterpiece. Coppola gave attencion to the minor detail. Can you hear the birds ?? Roman 'omen" for death or luck...you can hear them on Fredo's death scene also. The orange, always at the plot of a murder.
... yes....
Pes engjelli
The cinematography is amazing. Tom giving a choice to frankie right at the angle of the fence
I adore the dialogue here.
This movie is so great it’s just not possible to explain…
I always wondered if Tom passed him the razor blade when they shook hands at the end. It was good fortune that Michael Gazzo was cast as replacement for Clemenza, he stole every scene he was in.
The Tom throws his cigar away shows that he is also a kind of sick and tired of killing and Michael’s disrespect to family values Don Vito used to cherish. “It once was”, is nostalgia to Don Vito times.
Frank Pantageli was my favorite character of part 2. The man stood on business! Frankie 5 Angels
Master class in acting! See you Tom 👋

I met Mr. Duvall (a kid's version of "meeting") when he was in the DC area filming parts of the GF 2 in 1972. Of all places it was at a greasy spoon that sold BBQ pork sandwiches. SRO. He was in the corner waiting for his order with a human mountain standing beside him. I looked at him and knew I'd seen him "somewhere". Looked away. Looked back at him. Did that a few more times and the last time I looked he was standing in the corner with his head down and huge smile on his face. I wish I'd had the nerve to at least say hello to him.
