17:17 Disagree. I found the dubbing specially immersive. I watched a lot of jidaigeki and chambara films (Kurosawa is just gateway to better directors, e.g., Kobayashi, Gosha, Okamoto, etc.) I so love their Japanese accents using a language I can understand. Watched a lot of Sho Kosugi films in the 80's and when I found out that he mocapped Rikimaru, I was blown away. Hiroyuki Sanada couldn't do any better. Greatest Ninja mocap hands down.

Love that they made Japanese to make to make the English dub. People find it awful but I really love it, so immersive!

Love this game very much. One of my top 10 that I always play back in the day. My number 1 is Tenchu: Stealth Assassins of course, MGS, Dino Crisis 2, Bushido Blade 2, RE3, etc... This game was also pretty inspirational to me. I won 1st prize on a drawing contest where I mimicked the color scheme of the game over screen. Never saw that monochromatic red used before back in 2000 as a 25 year old.

Love that the in-game model of Lin better because of the life-saving thighs.

The Genesis seems to also have another character playable missing from the SNES version.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 easily has the best soundtrack of that generation

If you're going to use fixed angles, it really makes sense to pre-render it. It would have looked a lot better in my opinion. The lab setting is boring and repetitive and the 2nd game did a lot better at having unique environments.

Is it possible to turn off the screaming in the options menu?

The game looks cool and I enjoyed playing it for a few minutes. But why did Nintendo think it's okay to make a screaming baby a centerpiece of the game? It's unplayable. You have to mute the sound.

I agree with you on many things, I played a lot on the Dreamcast in the early 2000s, and my favorites are the Sonic games, Resident Evils and Shenmue 1, 2 also. Unfortunately, I don't understand how Shenmue 3, which I was really looking forward to at the time, could have changed so much. I started playing on PS5 with great anticipation, but unfortunately, despite the better hardware, the game itself doesn't come close to the first two parts. What do you think of the third part of Shenmue?

not worth the money imo, could have come at least with some soundtrack CD and more stuff inside the game cases

I like how slow it plays. Gives me more time for trying to make combos. I love how it looks and how many options you have for attacks. It's best to get on the Genesis, especially if you have six button controllers so you don't have to use the extra button (start on the three button Genesis controller) in order to use all of the attacks. And yes, the Genesis has a little faster play. The Genesis' gritty sounding sound card really is fitting for games like this. It's great that it can be found loose for less than $30, sometimes less than $20 even though it is a somewhat rare game. It is underrated so that helps keep the price down. It's like Trojan for the NES: a lesser-known but awesome game by a well-known publisher. This Weaponlord game is a very impressive Namco game! Good review! Your channel is really fun with the over-the-top, pro wrestler style voice overs.

Bad list dumb

major flaws of some of thes games were that some some of them allowed only limited no of continues while playing the game, which made the game play very frustrarting...as theplayers would have ts start the game from scartch

Fantastic video. Another Sonic thing I loved was putting Sonic 2 on top on Sonic and Knuckles and playing as Knuckles in Sonic 2. The replay value was off the charts! 👍

Playing streets of rage 2 mania was awesome

I have Sonic 1 2 3 and Knuckels at home for my Sega Megadrive and I have to say that Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckels, stand out very much and are definitely worth a look, but there are still many games that would be very worth seeing on the platform, with it was then Fußball Sport Gonge yes very fond and there was on the Megadrive International Super Star Socker, a little later the deluxe version was a bit better, but I didn't think at the time that the version would run almost 1 to 1 to the Super NES version on the Megadrive. But it is really a very nice gaming system of its time. Verri NIce Video of Sega Genesis/Megadrive.

My story is that I got this game a flea market but the game was scratched and so it would load the game up and I’d watch the beginning and then once you control the character the moment you go to the next area it’ll freeze. Every time….

We had MK3 in our senior's lounge in high school (and a pool table and a ping pong table abd like 6 other arcade games, and it was right next tk the gym which will come back in this quick story later).... Bubble bobble was somewhat popular in 95/96 when I was there, and people waited to play it, but mk3? My god You'd pray u got there at a time when maybe there was "only" just 6 other people next to play lol... fights over who was next, saying "forget it" if a certain kid or 2 was already playing cuz odds of him losing were slim at best.. I'd get a quick workout in at the gym riggt there, and yell "I'm after so and so!" but you'd see kids FLYING in from the gym when they realized they were up, all sweaty and shti lol... that entire senior year, that game was the shti, crowds around waiting or cheering if those unbeatable kids actually lost lol Loved that damn game
