I don't blame you. The map is pretty huge. So yeah, there's a lot to miss. And that's whats cool about this game. You never know what you're gonna find!

Both listed for $53.99 and releasing same date (7/25/23) … one thing I’ve noticed… strategy guides often go down in price before release, art books generally do not!

I am around 69 hours in and to be honest I don’t have a clue what’s going on. I know nothing about the law (I find it so hard to follow) and I barely even know what 90% of items do. No clue what runes are used for. Also have no idea what certain enemies are weak or strong against etc.
Now I do not want to have spoilers for the game but I would like to be a bit more clued up, so to speak. Probably not a popular opinion but sometimes I think Elden Ring but benefit from an in-game journal.
This guide is quite pricey but I’m tempted to purchase in the hope it can teach me some more background info as well as info on the different enemies and their back stories as well as help crafting, creating better weapons and generally informing me what the items are used for. Does it teach these things?

Where did you find the book for that cheap? Do they drop more at random times? All I see is people reselling them for way more on Amazon
when it was first announced, the pre-order price was $29.99 which was a steal so I had to get it and book 2 also for the same price. I'm sure the price will fluctuate around $40-50 if sold directly from Amazon. Then once out of print will go for much more from resellers. I'm seeing it for $42 on Amazon right now although it's temporarily out of stock. You can still buy it and they will ship it once it's in stock
