Every year or less there will be an upgrade or some phone that is "better" and most of the time those features won't come to the previous version, that's how they make money. I understand the disappointment. What I'm learning to do now (always known this mentally), you buy a phone for what it is now and enjoy that or buy new ones for every new feature or upgrade and never be satisfied, that's what companies want from their customers....😉 Now and then I'll use an older phone for one or two days and when I get back to my latest phone I'm happy enough.😊
bought xperia 1 for about 100usd. this thing still okay for 2024. plan to buy the xperia 1 mark 3 next year, if this one got porblem. coming from ios, because i got bored with the iPhone

@@harry.hartanto Thanks for watching! I believe super raw stacks raw files to help increase dynamic range. I'm sure in the end there's some compression of some sort. Super raw can also lead to blurred subjects if they are moving in the scene

what does the IO percent level mean beside the frame drop indicator?
@@sahilmemon8211 Thanks for the question! It stands for input / output and basically monitors the health and speed of internal storage while writing to it. A higher percentage could lead to dropped frames or drop outs, as memory cannot keep up with what is being written. Likely not a problem for most higher end devices with top of the line storage , but is likely very important for mid tier or lower tier devices

I think you made the right choice, after you said you gonna sell this and buy a Xiaomi 14 Ultra, i bought a used Xiaomi 14 Ultra and sold it the next day (thankfully, same price). planned to have the device mainly for video but all the fancy features are locked for 1080p!! Maybe it's a good camera for photography purpose. Idk. Im gonna stick with my Xperia 1 V for a couple more years i guess. at least all features are available at 4k@120. Btw, the main reason it's hard to move away from Photography Pro is I can limit the ISO for both SDR and HDR even when going auto. And the Auto mode keep a reasonable shutter speed to have non jittery video. Why cant we see this features in other manufacturers phones???
@@ikmalfitri2635 Oh no way! Glad it worked out in the end. I'm surprised 120fps with full features isn't supported elsewhere yet. It seems iphone way support 120 to some extent on the next devices? Maybe that'll push the other manufacturers to catch up. Thanks for watching!

The photography kit seems very enticing for me. I miss having a physical shutter button 😅 Also the filter mount would be useful as I have mostly 67mm filters already

@@ShibiChan I think some company made a similar photo kit for the X100 Ultra. Try to see if it works with the Pro.
The kit for Xiaomi14u in Pro mode only shoots, you will not be able to zoom. It is inexplicable but it is a reality. Keep it in mind.

Hey man, love your POV street photography videos! Could you please tell me if should I buy the X100pro or wait for the X200pro that is just around the corner, I am using a Mi 11T currently, use it for photos and casual short form content creation, also should proRes log vs android(motioncam) be a deciding factor? Thanks for watching! Honestly I can't tell you which to buy, but I will say the X100 Pro seems it will stay relevant for quite a while. It could also be worth seeing if the 100 pro price drops after the new gen release. Otherwise, there are some other factors like which version / rom you will pick up, international versus Chinese. Both have pretty different software and there is a real feature gap. I can say MotionCam works well for on the intl X100 Pro

Hello! There are two types of the photos. The first one was made by pro mode, raw format? The second one was edited by LR redactor or did you do this (added more shadow) by using phone camera features?

@@sircalvin4533 It's giving you the best possible base to start out with for sure. You can't export from Davinci in too high of a resolution, I think 1080 is the max. Not sure exactly what the cutoff is for when they introduce their own video compression. I'd look that up first and maybe try some test vids
Davinci free will allow upto 1080 resolution export. As for quality, it gives the best possible image from the little sensor mobile have. So yes, motioncam will increase the quality but you have to know how to bypass or atleast minimise the compression from tiktok and Instagram

@@alexandar5253 For bypassing it can't be done or isn't revealed publicly so that's out of the picture. Now to reduce compression, the file size shouldn't cross the limit allowed by insta or tiktok which triggers their compression. For that you have to find out what's their file size recommendation. As for insta, upload from Iphone as insta favours iPhone and if you don't have Iphone then upload to meta business site. That's the way to go
@@alexandar5253 try to compress file under 30mb. I would say under 50 at max. But just try on an alternate account which export looks good

Quick correction: The slower rendering / exporting speed is due to the additional NR. If no noise reduction is selected, I can actually achieve 10-20fps rendering even with ProRes HQ++
Can I ask? I saw your video about using the nd filter to your sony xperia 1 iv, how come that the tof sensor i mean the purple light is not lighting when you put the nd filter like no reflection to your nd filter. my english is bad so hopefully you understand hahahahaha
@@Derick1218 It actually did blink for me and reflect in the filter, but only for a second or two before it stopped. And it didn't happen every single time, but pretty often. Not exactly sure why though. Thanks for watching!
